I will reach the age of 70 this year. I think (and am told) that I don't look my age and that I am quite trendy - not ridiculous high fashion though. Can I get away with wearing a jumpsuit? I have seen a Brora one in their sale which is blue linen (looks a bit like denim) with a front zip. Don't want to look like mutton.....

Yes definitely I bought a black/white one last year and I love it. Just need a holiday now to wear it.

Yes definitely easy to wear - love mine - the evening one had for several years and still looks great with a cardigan for the colder nights.
However if you decide to get a cat woman type do send a pic ??

Jumpsuit yes, shorts no!

Just check the side and back view - as anything looks OK from the front (so many flat or droopy bums about).

I’m 64 and I’ve got a lovely mid calf length one which I wear in the spring/summer. The first few times I wore it I undid the front buttons and pulled it down.
However.... my stepdaughter noticed it has quite wide legs so suggested I experimented with pulling up one leg to my bottom and holding the crutch of trousers to one side. Sorted, wee easily done with no undressing! I’ve had loads of practice in the past in fully clothed outdoor wees so this was a doddle!

I don't think age comes into it. Shape matters more. I haven't had the figure for a jumpsuit since I was 40. If I was as slim now as I was in my 20s I wouldn't hesitate.

Tmi storynanny? (I really don't think I could manage that manoeuvre!)

25% off jumpsuits at White Stuff, including this one, which I see they have shown on an older model

I think it is all to do with the length. I have a friend who is slim and wears them, but far too short (my DH calls it half-mast) and she looks silly!

You go for it. Life is for living and enjoying yourself. Have confidence and trust that you will look great... In whatever makes you happy.

Go for it if you feel comfotable and confident!

In my twenties I decided, it was winter, to wear my jumper over the top of my jumpsuit just to ring the changes.
OMG the difficulty going to the loo! Coat off , jumper off, check bottom (of trousers) aren’t all over the floor.
Apart from almost weeing all over the floor I was freezing.?
Never again even in summer.

Absolutely yes. There is no age limit to whatever you want to wear. It is entirely harmless.

I have 2, both from Next. A black & white, front fastening jersey one which I can wear all year round and a coral cotton one which fastens with buttons at the back.
Don't know if I'll be able to wear the coral one this summer as I have developed a frozen shoulder and would not be able to get my arm up my back enough to fasten it.
I have no problem in storing them, the jersey one is on a hanger behind my bedroom door and the other is folded at the waist and put on one of those hangers with 2 clips at the top.
