I'm looking for a bra that's underwired, non padded, straps that can support 36DD bust. I'm thinking of something similar to Triumph's Doreen but underwired - any suggestions of recommendations?

Fantasie Belle. I used to wear Doreen but this one is so comfortable!

Fantasies Belle too. Once you get the right size they are perfect. Last for ages!

Have a look at Bravissimo, they have lovely bras of all sorts for larger busts.

Miss Mary of Sweden do underwired bras with strong padded straps.

M&S do a very good range of DD bras underwired but no padding, with broader straps which make them more comfortable to wear.

Triumph amourette - excellent!

Just want to agree - Fantasie Belle every time. I’m a 32 G and they give me all the support I need.

I’m 40hh
I know massive and can only get Bravissimo bras. Such a pity they don’t do basic strong bra. I don’t really care how it looks just support me. Scaffolding needed!!

Fantasie and Pour Moi do side support bras that are great if you’re a bigger cup size. I’m a FF. they’re pretty and so comfortable. I buy mine from the Belle Lingerie web shop and they often have sales and offers.

I'm a 38G and love Fantasie's Illusion Side Support bra. I've just bought a black one for £26.50 on Uplifted Lingerie, which is a better price than on other websites.

Fantasie's Illusion Side Support bra looks great as I love a wide band, and £26.50 sounds good value.

I've since realised I paid £25.60, so even better! White or black only at that price on that particular website.

I will only buy the full cup Panache Tango bra now. It’s so supportive yet I don’t feel like I’m actually wearing a bra!

Wow they're expensive!

Blossoming Tue 08-Jun-21 23:33:59

Those prices are outrageous! I think I’m splashing out of I pay 30 quid for a bra! Also they don’t do FF, so absolutely no use to me.

NotSpaghetti Wed 09-Jun-21 06:49:46

They are expensive but they DO make a FF.
They are European sizes.

Figleaves often have them in the sale.

My friend is trying to find a 44E in cotton with no underwires as suggested by the breast clinic, but no joy yet.

I wear M&S . Unpadded, underwired, non slip straps, lace cups, very pretty in nude, black or white. DD sizes. £16.

I was wary of underwired bras, but last year I tried a Fantasie Helena Full Cup, and was delighted. I now have four: two nude, one white, one black. Really comfortable and supportive, and look good even under thin clothing. I wear nothing else!
