Hi all. I want a haircut, one that minimises my jowls. What do you think?

I’ve always had a double chin and the horror of turkey neck too
I’m mid 60’s and after trying lots of different styles I’m back to just above shoulder length straight with a brushed to one side fringe

I did read somewhere that a side fringe (as you described storynanny) drew attention away from the lower half of the face? Not sure if that works, but worth a try.
For me a style I can cope with is more relevant nowadays.

Well I’ve tried most styles and my mother would be horrified if I still had long hair at my age! But I’m happy with a wash and go, bit of straightening, tie it up if hot etc hairstyle. I don’t have a layers as that seems to puff the hair out and make the whole face and chin area wider!

Actually it’s just past shoulders now I’ve realised but I’m due a trim tomorrow
