I use Moisturer Moisturiser by Cyclax. Used it when I was young and then couldn't get it for years. Hate greasy creams and found it on Amazon. It soaks into the skin and doesn't leave it greasy. Yves Rocher also on Amazon as previously said.

Prai is good and sold on QVC which means you can try it for 60 days and even if you've given it a good 'go' and don't like it, you can still return it for a full refund (less postage).

Take a look at Tropic Skincare, they have some amazing products and I believe you can order online and they have ambassadors throughout the country. I love their Skinfeast and although it’s not cheap it lasts for ages.

If there's John Lewis near you their make counters can book you in for a free facial and they will help you find a suitable moisturiser and will usually let you have a sample to try at home, without you having to fork out for lots of pots of cream that turn out to be unsuitable. You could start with Origins as they are organic and "green" and have a range especially for "mature" skin.

I recommend REN. You can order from various places online and it’s sold in Marks and Spencer. Their creams are light and absorb quickly. It’s mid priced.

For many years I have used Body Shop vitamin E creams. I sometimes try more expensive ones nut always seem to go back to the Vitamin E creams. They are light and easily absorbed.

I am sensitive to perfumes and have stopped using soap and shower gel for many many years. I buy a large tub of “Aqueous Cream BP” and use it as both soap and moisturiser. It is not greasy and leaves your skin wonderfully supple. Costs about £5 for about 500g, so doesn’t break the bank. If you want to add perfume to it, just stir some in!

I agree with Shelbel - Lidl moisturisers are inexpensive and don't react with my sensitive skin like a lot of the more expensive ones do.

I’m currently using Neutrogena Hydro Boost. It’s lighter than I like, so might suit you, but I’ll finish the jar regardless.

I know what you mean about favourite products becoming unavailable. I am inclined to get rosacea with creams that are too rich. I tried Healgel Face and Healgel Eye on a recommendation and was delighted with them, used them for years, developed by plastic surgeons for after surgery apparently, then they abruptly stopped being available after lockdown first began. I wondered if maybe the lab was making handgels instead. I rang the firm to ask when they would be available again several times, kept getting a date that got put back and back, then they stopped answering. There was an intensive version available, but much more expensive and I didn’t need that.
So I was in the same position as the OP, hunting for a suitable light cream. I have ended up with the sensitive version of La Roche Posay night, day and eye creams, used after a hydrating essence to help absorption, from Neal’s Yard, which my DD found for me. They cost about the same as the other stuff but seem to last longer. I am very pleased with them.

Try a light cream from La Roche Posay. Boots have been discounting it.

I have dry, sensitive skin and have actually found some great face creams from Notino - they have a great range of many branded products at sensible prices!
My biggest surprise is picking up a moisturiser from Primark! From their Gentle range, the pot of moisturiser was £3, micellar cleanser £2 and other things for £2 - £3.
One of the few moisturisers that hasn't made my broken veins worse and as it contains vitamin E, has helped a scar on my forehead too. For that price, worth a try !

Have you looked at Highborn. Wonderful,light and made with natural ingredients. Not the cheapest but not extortionate.

I'd recommend Simple products from Superdrug or Boots. Lots of excellent products for all skin types and very reasonable

I'm 73 and have been using Liz Earle products for over 20 years. There is a wide range of products and they do supply the kind of moisturiser you are looking for: Skin Repair Light Cream. Discounts are often available on-line and they also sell on QVC. Can't recommend them enough.

Kali22 and Monnydite interesting! I lived in the Yves Rocher town n Brittany for a while, lots of stories told about M Rocher, and a lot of pride in the company supporting the little town - La Gacilly makes a lovely tourist day out, too.

I changed to Aldi products a while ago and I agree they are very good. Our local Aldi hasn’t had the Caviar creams for some time now and it was the one I preferred but their others are good, I am currently using their Q10 cream.

Here’s another vote for Liz Earle, I use this and like it very much , and so does my mother and mother in law.

I've recently had to switch from an okay formula that's far too light for me that may just suit you! It's a fluid see pic. It's very reasonably priced and is non greasy, worth a try?
