I have recently had my hair cropped and need a bolder eye make up. I used to use Bobbi Brown powder shadow but they no longer come in singles . Their khaki was my favourite last time I had short hair but is discontinued. All pallets have a number of colours I would never use. My hair is silver, my eyes are blue and I have a warmish skin tone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Trinny London do individual cream eye shadow pots which don’t crease on your eyelids and last all day. They have some lovely taupey colours. The little pots also last for ages.

No, I haven’t tried the Jones Road. It is a new concept of makeup. Maybe not for everyone. I was a BB fan for years. I follow Angie on Utube Hot and Flashy and use they things she shows in her presentations that work for older ladies.

Pavane aha, interesting thank you. I was a BB fan for years too, but colours started getting a bit coppery for me so I stopped buying them. I still buy the face base cream, which is a fab all rounder product. I’ll have to maybe one of the more neutral Jones Road eyeshadows and give them a test drive.

I like MAC eyeshadow, I avoid the pearly and shimmery ones as I think they highlight any creases. They've always done a good range. You might also try Benefit.
I have fair skin (warm tone) and blue eyes - my favourite colour is a subtle, pale mauvy/grey/taupe and if I ever see the right colour in any brand I snap it up. It sounds odd but it works better with my colouring. A light application gives a more natural looking result than a soft beige. A slightly heavier application also works as a colour.

If you want cheap and cheerful, then Poundland sells single palette eye shadows. I’m sure they had nude and beige shades.

I am very distressed when an old stand-by is no longer available. Two-Faced lipstick is one of them. Embarassed to name the color but it was 'Sex Kitten'!

Have you looked on eBay Llamas? You get companies on there who have bought up end of line stock. I found a lipstick I wanted that way. New and unused of course. So I greedily bought two!

Have a look at max factor master masterpiece precision eyeshadow which is a wand, and doesn't crease. Basically you paint it in like a liquid lip gloss. Keep looking down for a couple of minutes until it dries. It doesn't move.
