Do you think the baggy, shapeless, oversized clothing trend is flattering?

My favourite summer dress, well placed darts at the bust for a good fit, midi length on the model, maxi length on me! It skims nicely without cling.

Yes I wear trainers or hiking sandals with it as I can’t walk in anything else.

Yes Fanny it is. I have a few of their shift dresses, I love that they have pockets, and as they’re slightly stretchy I can just pull them on over my head without bothering to undo any buttons.

And the cotton fabric is lovely

It should be the law that all dresses have pockets.

I think you have to be reasonably tall (5' 4" and over) to wear some of the baggy styles; I am only 5' and look ridiculous in baggy stuff. I am a size 8 at the bottom, but unfortunately have large boobs, so a size 10/12 at the top. Separates are better for me, and fitted clothes are more flattering (not skin tight or 'bodycon' though!) - clothes shopping is a nightmare at he moment as so many styles are loose and baggy. My favourite casual look is slim jeans (not skinny), breton striped top and navy blazer, with white trainers or navy loafers.

Frankly for those of us (present company excepted) who are pretty baggy and shapeless underneath- big and baggy is perfect, hiding the proverbial multitude of sins.

Love baggy clothes at my age I don’t dress up for anyone. I can always use a belt and f I need to. I just don’t wear anything smart. I had enough when working.

Same here Howverydareyou I'll stick to whatever I feel comfortable in. Now it's mainly trousers and loose shirts. Never wear jumpers or heavy tops as I get too hot.

The main thing to wear to look fabulous is confidence. If you’re happy and at ease it shows.

I love loose dresses. I feel good in them. It’s all about how one feels in clothes.

This is my lovely dress from Taking Shape. Slightly fitted at the top but skims over the rest. It’s bamboo and feels and looks gorgeous on. I’ve had quite a few things from the site and it’s difficult to find clothes in my size {over 16) that aren’t frumpy!

BlueBelle, your's is by far the nicest I've seen on here. By far! Who cares about designer tags when you can achieve that look.

I love this look, comfortable, ignores the waist - and I have had white trainers well blinged for the last two years.

What I hate is anything waisted or fitting. except trousers, and there I do prefer narrow legged trousers. I have never had a waist, my hip bones are roughly at waist level. However, I am long in the leg, so can get away with clothes like this

I haven’t noticed but then again I’m not going out much too notice. My nearest large town is 35miles away plus I have no need for clothes n all honesty.

I too live it jeans or shorts, I possess about 4 dresses, 3 of then are long summer ones. My style is like this, I’m 5 11, size 14/16.

I've never had a dress with pockets , I have enough bulges as it is.
In fact, I haven't worn a dress for years either
