Can anyone recommend a comfortable bra?

I find that the elastic is often too narrow and cuts in. I, too would love to find a comfortable bra. I can find ones that fit and make me the shape I like (!) but they always end up really uncomfortable.

Sorry not be any help, but maybe I'll pick up some ideas, too!

Try Bravissimo. I’ve had a few from there because they measure you accurately and they are SO comfy but they cost about £48 each.

At the other end of the scale I bought a pack of 3 underwired in Asda not expecting much and they have been really good. Black, mint green and pink and I think the whole lot were something like £15.

I wear the ones from Avon and Sloggi very comfortable I've Costochrondritis and arthritis I can only wear pull on ones these are nice and soft

Have you checked out a really good sports bra perhaps?

I can recommend the soft bra style, where you step into it, so has no fastener, strap adjuster or wiring. Supermarkets sell many different types - so comfy, nicely supportive and value for money!

I’m probably going against what everybody else is going to say, but I find underwired bras that have been properly fitted by far the most comfortable, because they stop the inevitable droop, and therefore any sweating or tight under bands. I use M&S, and as long as they fit properly I find they are really comfortable.

I wear M&S too Casdon, BodySoft, no underwiring mostly, as advised when I had a breast scare, but have a couple of wired. Very comfortable

I discovered this M n S bra and since then have never looked back, the best, comfiest bra ever.

Probably not for the very large given support levels. Pads you can use but not underwriting.

Sloggi (bought mine in Waitrose!) only one I can wear all day. Stretch pull on. No bones or wires and wide stretchy straps. Best I’ve found.

Ref stretch pull on bras. Tried a couple of makes but Cotton traders by far the best,
Pants good too.

Try a soft zip front, no wire, cross back sports bra. Minimizes too!

I’m a 34e and find marks minimiser bra s very comfy . They’re underwired but that gives you a better shape

I have recommended Royce bras on GN before. I have a couple of their tee shirt bras. They have no wires or stiff bones. They specialise in non wired bras and bras in which you can insert a prosthetic (which I don't need). Pretty styles, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

No matter how it starts out in the morning I can’t wait to get home and pull the damn thing off by evening.Soft pull ons no good at all if you want a good shape.

Its true the ones I recommend, pull on ones, don't give as strong a shape, tends to be softer and not "sticky out". But for comfort - any time.

But my boobs are not very big (34B) so not a lot of sagging or needing hitching up. But I think the shape is quite soft and feminine.

But again, maybe not for higher levels of support for larger sizes as we get a bit older.

I am 36B and find the pull ons hopeless, if anyone is smaller in the boob dept they may suit.

My latest bra is M&S called Blossom and comes in black, white, nude or pink.Really lacy and pretty and only £18.

My problem is that under one arm only, the fabric rolls up into a tight band, uncomfortable and unflattering.
I’ve lost count of the amount of bras I’ve ordered and sent back, I would pay seriously good money to find a comfy bra.

Comfortable bra? No such thing. I try not to wear them - most of the time. I've tested every type, extenders, soft lining - the whole caboodle. In fact, there's one (sports type) in the shoe cupboard, just for going out in!

I'll be braless at home and pop on the padded gilet in the hall if I have to answer the door.

For days out, though, I have to wear one. That's easier in winter as I have very sensitive skin so wear a thin cotton vest or t-shirt underneath - some adjusting needed, of course. In summer, I just suffer the discomfort and rash.

That is another option - lighter sports bras. They go up to big sizes and still offer support, depends what you are wearing them under. Sloggi do a good one.

I get measured by M & S and now use their Total Support Full Cup and it has Supima Cotton in it. It's non wired and no support from plastic bits. (I can't wear any bra that has wire or plastic in it due to surgery I had years ago).
I find the service brilliant and so are the bras.
