Dress opinions please

I've bought a dress online and it arrived this morning. When i tried it on I thought it looked really nice (I'm size 18 and don't have much confidence in clothes shopping). When I asked OH for his opinion he looked, said "Hmmm, its OK. It's a bit 'busy' though and it looks old fashioned, like something from the 70s".
'Busy' is his favourite word for something with a lot of pattern.
Now I don't know whether or not to keep the dress. I liked it but now it seems spoiled.
I think (hope!) I've attached a pic of the dress and am keen to get your opinions.

I can see what he means.
It does look a bit hippyish.
And has a bold pattern.
So I think he is giving his honest opinion. Which is presumably what you asked for.
However
It's certainly not hideous and since you are wearing it not him the only opinion that really matters is your own.

I like it, it looks different to the run of the mill styles, if you feel comfortable in it, that's all that matters, but I think it looks very nice
