There’s a GNet article about best primers to buy but the cheapest is around £25, so can anyone recommend one that’s around £10 or under and does the job well?

Too faced do eyeshadow primer, think it’s called 24 hr insurance? Really good, especially if you don’t want to end up like Alice Cooper whilst doing the garden

I thought this was about decorating paint. What is it about?

I too thought it was paint, well, my Dad used to call make up war paint!
I’m glad I’ve hardly ever worn any, less to be concerned about.

I can’t make the £10 barrier, but I highly recommend Nip and Fab Glycolic Fix Primer. Comes in a flat grey bottle, retails around £12/£13. It’s quite thick and gloopy, but spreads easily, and, once it’s dried for a few minutes, provides a smooth as glass base for foundation. I often just use a dusting of powder over it, it’s so effective.

I use Gosh primer, order it on Amazon now, as you can’t seem to find it in the shops. It really is nice, and I have sensitive skin.

If your eyelashes are next to nothing, I highly recommend using a white primer base before adding mascara. It makes a world of difference.

Thanks for that tip Hollysteers😃

For a good primer under £10, try e.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer around £7-£8, Rimmel London Lasting Finish Primer about £7, or Revolution Pro Pore Primer £8-£9. I used to love Urban Decay eye primer for its flesh color and effectiveness, plus it’s cruelty-free. Now, I often skip primer and just use a light concealer, since my dry skin holds makeup well without it. Recently, I found some fantastic beauty products on www.dealsandstealstoday.com/ at great discounts. They have amazing deals, and I’ve been able to snag high quality items without breaking the bank.
