Used to wear jackets to work but only wear denim type jackets now. Tailored jackets don’t seem to suit me anymore.

I too love my denim jacket. I’ve also got the same in black and in white. I love my leather jackets too although I’ve had to hide them so my daughters don’t pinch them - I’ve noticed they both had their beady eyes on them!

I love jackets! I’m a jacketaholic! I have two dozen in my wardrobe. All colours, various styles, a jacket for every occasion - casual or smart. I shop online these days. If I go into a clothes shop, no matter what I went in to buy, I come out with a new jacket! I have a tiny frame but a big bust, so wearing jackets, left undone, is easily my best look.

The last jacket I bought was a denim one with Route 66 emblazoned across the back. I found it again the other day when I was having a clear out. Charity shop I thought? Not a chance, too many happy memories!

I'm not really a jacket person but a couple of years ago I got a dark blue thick linen jacket from White Stuff and find it really useful in the summer. It's unlined and not even remotely smart or blazer-y

After 30 years working in a bank wearing a blazer style jacket every day I thought I would love to be casual when I retired. I have several blazers in different colours which I am loathe to part with, but my life of dog walking, gardening and other laid back pursuits I rarely wear them. I feel very smart when I do though.

What do you wear instead of a jacket?

I love a nice jacket. My 2 favourites are a purple wool one from Hobbs and a Pink boucle one from Boden- both birthday presents 2 successive years running and both with a good discount. (present from me I might add).

I do love them. From denim to bikers. I have a beaut of a longline shocking pink suede one that sits in the wardrobe waiting for me to find the right occasion. In my defence my sister donated it to me, I’ve just not had the occasion yet.
I’m mostly in bikers leather or denim or windproof somethings whilst dog walking.

Not a jacket person but love a classy cardigan. In winter it's a duvet jacket.

I like jackets that match my skirts and which I wore quite a lot when I worked, or for semi-formal afternoon visiting. Cardies or jumpers make me feel dowdy, so only worn at home, or for country walks.

Coats have mostly gone right out of fashion in Denmark since the late 1980s - you can still buy coats so someone must wear them, but I only know people who wear winter jackets - Helly Hansen or similar.

I love jackets but I always leave them open 😀

As a working professional. I love double breasted jackets, with matching trousers, mid calf length vests with matching trousers or mid calf length cardigans and denim jackets or leather jackets for casual Fridays and weekends.

When I was working I wore them a lot. Guess what ? They have been in my wardrobe since I retired in 2008 but I think I’ve only worn them to a couple of funerals since. Time flies, sometimes I just feel so ancient…

I’ve got a variety of jackets of different styles and materials. I love them. I’ve probably got too many really, but if I got rid, I know I would regret doing so.
I’m actually wanting a tweed jacket now, but we’ll see, as I don’t actually need one, just would like one😁.

I love a blazer-type jacket. I have a tweedy one I wear with jeans.
