I love animal print and I have seen so many shops with leopard print in this year but I'm not sure how on board I am with it, what are your thoughts? hmm

My friends sister was murdered last Friday and she has asked everyone to wear leopard print at the funeral tomorrow.

Good grief, that is truly shocking.

Condolences and sympathies to all.

Hope you’re dressing from head to foot in leopard print!

Not keen on animal print myself though.

MissAdventure Wed 25-Sept-24 12:23:47

I see nothing wrong with Bet Lynch looks, actually.
She was rather beautiful. smile

I have that blue top as well shysal it's very cosy. I don't mind animal print in small amounts, a top or scarf for example or the shoes someone mentioned.

I know it's considered fashionable right now but I hate animal prints, always think they look cheap and nasty although I know they're not.

Yes love it, tops in giraffe print leopard print not so keen on snake print though

HeavenLeigh Wed 25-Sept-24 12:52:41

Knspol it depends how it’s worn head to toe in leopard print not so much, with accessories to match no, but tops with plain skirts or trousers handbag and shoes can look smart,

Yes

I’m with Bluebell on this. It’d be great if everyone who wore leopard print made a respectful nod towards the original design inspiration by giving a donation towards their protection.

I love a bit of animal print. I have bought some leopard print jeans which I can’t wait to wear.

MissAdventure Wed 25-Sept-24 13:05:23

I'm too fat for a main item.
I'd look like a herd of animals! smile

I loathe animal prints and always have. However, they do look good on some people. It certainly is a thing this autumn.

JdotJ Wed 25-Sept-24 13:21:48

It just reminds me of Bet Lynch

I'm sure you found something lovely to wear.

I'm so sorry. flowers

I'm not one to wear animal prints often, however, I was given a silver/black/great leopard print scarf - gorgeous with Black jacket/sparkly buttons and ears, white blouse and silver mules.

So incredibly sad Kirkcubbin.

But yes, i gravitate to animal prints. For years i had a wonderful (some said hideous) leopard print coat. I loved it. It was known throughout my family and friends as my 'Bet Lynch' coat! It went to the Charity Shop when we moved to warmer climes. I wish i still had it smile

MissAdventure Wed 25-Sept-24 15:03:18

My girl called my earrings, my "Pat Butchers". smile

Just remembered, I had some leopard skin earrings.

mabon1 Wed 25-Sept-24 15:26:09

I dislike it intensely, would never buy any animal print.

Cateq Wed 25-Sept-24 15:50:12

Never liked refuse to buy anything animal print. I could blame my mil she always said it reminded her of a cheap tart, that lived nearby, but just never ever saw the attraction myself.

Kirkcubbin, so sorry for you and your friend’s loss. I hope the person who was responsible for the lady’s death rots in hell.

Greciangirl Wed 25-Sept-24 16:00:57

I have some leopard print leggings that I’m wearing right now,

GrauntyHelen Wed 25-Sept-24 16:50:15

I quite like leopard print now although I didn't used to Appearantly it should be regarded as a neutral

Rusume Wed 25-Sept-24 17:07:33

I love animal print and am so pleased to see it'll be big again this season. I've just bought a cardigan and a jacket in leopard print (not to be worn together!) and would love a pair of jeans (not to be worn with either the cardigan or jacket!)

Annma Wed 25-Sept-24 17:25:26

Over a certain age animal print is fine in moderation.I don’t like to see older ladies wearing it head to toe.It can look a little bit like Bet Lynch if overdone.

sazz1 Wed 25-Sept-24 17:34:36

Really don't like animal prints and never wear it.

Chocolatelovinggran Wed 25-Sept-24 17:35:48

I love my leopardprint scarf. I think that it lifts my black/ grey/ navy/ brown boring
wardrobe.

DeeAitch56 Wed 25-Sept-24 17:41:26

Not for me as it always reminds me of Bet Lynch from Corrie so a bit common as per her character
