I would like some advice how do you ladies deal with this problem.
Do you dye your eyebrows yourself or have them dyed professionally.
My niece lost all her brows and had a tattoo that is not at all what I want.

I just use an eyebrow pencil.

I use Dye brow, you can get it from Boots or Amazon. Costs about £5 . Very easy to use if you follow instructions. Different shades available. I’m blonde, but use dark brown. Leave on for 6 minutes.

I find I look better with grey eyebrows than if I try to colour them.

I dye them at home. My head hair is still dark, so it looks really odd to have grey eyebrows, and what with the barbed-wire hairs growing - so I trim and dye.

When my head hair goes properly grey I’ll let my eyebrows match! But still trim them to avoid the Denis Healey effect…

Mine are a mix of black and white so I pull out the white ones which are much longer than the others, then use a pencil.

Trim any hairs that are growing too long, and dye any that are white rather than pluck them out.
I use a product called Demure Color Gel, in brown, from Amazon. It's easy to use and gives a good result.

I'm 80 now but my eyebrows have not turned grey,,,just sparse due to underactive thyroid...I just pencil them in

I just use brown eye makeup powder and stroke it on with a sponge applicator. Looks much more natural and no risk if get it wrong at first as it just washes off. Too dark eyebrows look so hard.

What are eyebrows?

I have never really had them. My glasses cover the lack.

My eyebrows disappeared after thyroid cancer when I was in my 30’s.
After years of using pencils (Billion Dollar Brows Universal being the best!)
I have finally had mine micro bladed, it was worth every penny.
Wish I had done e it years ago.

Loads of eye brow products on the market everything from eye brow pencils, to what looks like tiny mascara brushes. I don't think you would need to go to the trouble of dying them

I should have said "this is what I do." The way I've phrased it sounds rather like an instruction, sorry!

Mine had got very sparse so I had them microbladed in 2017. They still look good now.
I had used an eyebrow pencil for years but found it smudged and needed redoing quite frequently.

I use Just for Men! It comes in a premixed tube, and I apply it with an interdental brush, which makes it easy because you can be precise, as it’s so small. I’ve got dark eyebrows with just a few white hairs that really stand out, and I like Just for Men as it darkens the white hairs without making your whole eyebrow look dyed. The tube lasts ages.

I’m nearly 84 and for some strange reason haven’t gone grey except for a couple of grey hairs in front of my ears which rarely show. However, my eyebrows have been grey for years. I use to use an eyebrow pencil of mid brown to match my hair. Now I can’t be bothered and depend on a fringe and glasses to lessen the difference. The only trouble for me is that over the years some people have assumed I have dyed my hair.

My goodness what a wonderful array of comments, never knew there could be so many solutions.
My grey hairs have a mind of their own so need to trim, I wouldn't dare risk plucking out because I couldn't guarantee the hair would grow back, would be a concern.
After having a good check on the brow I've probably lost hair there over the years so not as thick.
Ladies you all seem to be more organized than me, I don't even trim my brows, it's put me to shame. To be honest I have no idea how to shape the eyebrows.
I think dying is the way forward I'll check out the products mentions and see if youtube can help me with shaping.
I do wear specs however my eyebrows are clearly seen above them.
My hair colour is dark brown with grey mixed in and I couldn't wait to get the silver grey my mother had in her 60s, unfortunately at 80 it's never going to happen for me.
Thank you so much everyone I really appreciate all your comments.

This is what I use Terribull a mascara type in dark blonde from Rimmel. £9 lasts for weeks. Take it off at night with Simple Eye remover squirted onto a cotton pad.

Six weekly visit to a beautician for a tint and shape. Simples.

Just appreciate you have eyebrows, lost mine eyes ago and have them gently tattooed about every 3 years. Also use an eyebrow pencil when they are fading.

My beautiful dark eyebrows went missing about 8yrs ago. I now look like a hardboiled egg without them!
I carefully draw them in, desperatly avoiding the Hida Ogden look.🥴

Usually, I just leave them, as my hair is turning grey too, but occasionally I put a little mascara on them, look in the mirror, decide it is too much, and remove most of it with removing cream. What is left of the mascara comouflages the grey in my eyebrows.

I'm quite lazy about eyebrow maintenance which is why I have a fringe!

Made me laugh out loud. What about Patrick Moore, The Sky at Night smile

Eyelure eyebrow dye. About every 3 weeks, stroke it on with a mascara brush (which comes with it) wait about 5 mins, wash off. I've been using it for years. Very quick, very easy, good results.

I have a patch on my eyebrow where the colour is white due to surgery. I just pencil in the gap with a brown eyebrow pencil.
