I would like some advice how do you ladies deal with this problem.
Do you dye your eyebrows yourself or have them dyed professionally.
My niece lost all her brows and had a tattoo that is not at all what I want.

I use regular hair dye to dye mine - Nice and Easy colour number 6, which is dark brown. My hair is a couple of shades lighter.

I squeeze about an inch of the colour and the developer into a small container. Mix it together and apply with an old mascara brush. Leave it on for about 20-25 minutes - just as you would if you were dyeing your hair.

It does say not to use the dye on your eyebrows but I have been doing it for years with no issues. I don't understand why it says this but maybe do a skin test first. A normal box dye lasts for ages.

The warning is in case you get the product in your eyes. Doing that could permanently damage your eyesight.

Since eyebrows are very close to your eyes the danger of getting product in your eyes is many times higher than when colouring your your hair. Personally I wouldn't want to risk it and will continue to pay a qualified beautician to colour my eyebrows, using a die specially formulated for the job.

A word of warning!
Just don't draw then on harshly or you'll look like Hilda Ogden from Coranation Steet!
Never a good look. My lovely dark eyebrows started to fall-out & go grey when I was about 45!
Now, I just gently add little strokes to them with a brown Avon glimmer stick and then blend them with an old, dry mascara wand.
It works well, not too Love Islandy either. 😚

Cassie in Corrie is a good example of why not to have too black eyebrows. I just hope they're not tattooed on.

I just wanted to pop in here to say to be super careful even with dyes specifically for eyelashes or brows as they contain the same chemicals as regular hair dye and if you get an allergic reaction it can be very dangerous so near the eyes. I don’t want to teach anyone to suck eggs but I became allergic to hair dye after decades of colouring it, not sure whether it was Covid which hairdresser suggested, or menopause. I was a bit blasé about doing skin tests too before this. My very ash dark brown eyebrows have a few grey ones in but I can’t dye them. I find it hard to get the right colour pencil or brow gel etc as they are all too warm. I finally found one called Graphite by Revolution but they discontinued it !

I use Refectocil and apply with a mascara brush. Trim with a gadget that's a mini scissors and comb combined. Mine aren't grey just faded. I have a small gap that I fill in with a sharp eye pencil using fine strokes.

DollyRocker I suspect that’s very similar to what they use in the salons but for a fraction of the price! Lots of shades to choose from. Wish I could dye mine as I really can’t be arsed with brow products. They didn’t have any ingredients on the website for it but I’m pretty sure as it’s a permanent dye that it will contain the stuff I’m allergic to PPD/PTD.

My sister uses an Eyelure brow dye every two or three weeks. I use a dark grey pencil as my hair is silver/white.
