Catherine , Princess of Wales always looks fabulous in everything she wears , she looks so regal today attending The Trooping of the colour,
It got me thinking , how does she choose her outfits ? Can’t see her going to any shops to look for a nice “ outfit”. Or are outfits brought to her home for her to choose or have made,,

I think Catherine is just naturally slim. There is nothing unhealthy about it. I was exactly the same at her age, after two children. I never had to watch what I ate. Some people are just made that way.

So was my mother.

I wasn't after I had a third DC. ☹

Makes me wonder if she’s in a secret competition with MM

Only if we see her with two hanks of hair hanging either side of her face. 😂

My feeling generally is that at over 40 she's a bit old to wear her hair loose so much - tends to make her look like a mannequin. Makes me wonder whether she's in a secret competition with MM 😂

Oh for goodness sake!
Let the woman wear her hair down, up or sideways. If she has to wear hats and tiaras on formal occasions, letting her hair down - literally- is no big deal
PS has anybody noticed Annabel Croft recently? (58, long brown wavy hair) Carole Middleton (70, long brown hair) Ruth Langsford(65, long hair) Melania Trump (55 long brown hair)
Petty or what?

She has no need to be in a secret competition with anyone
and certainly not Megan

Have you noticed just how many women over 40 have long hair these days? It is entirely normal. I know lots of women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and plus, who have long hair and wear it loose. In fact it is easier to number those over 40 who do not have long loose hair.

I have an aqua blue t shirt on today.

I deny voting for Reform
I will never vote for Reform.
I'm not changing my top because I like it.

😂😂😂

I'm assuming that was a joke?
No competition!

I'll ask my DDs and DIL if they're also in competition.

Blimey now it’s the hair police !

I have four DiLs two over 50 - long hair, one over 40 - very long hair, one over 40 - long hair.

I am mid 60’s I had my long hair cut 18 months ago, hated it and I am now growing it.

Two DiLs mothers have long hair.

It is the 21st century and women are allowed to have hair whatever length, style or colour they flipping well want…

Catherine wore white at yesterday's Order of the Garter service. I trust that suits everyone. Perhaps she has been on Gransnet and was playing safe.

Millie22 Tue 17-Jun-25 11:50:52

I think Kate's hair is absolutely gorgeous however she wears it. Charlotte has lovely hair too.

Annabel Croft still has long hair and she is 60ish.

Thanks!
Mine's short because it doesn't suit me long although I have tried.

DD's was in a plait this morning.

You hardly ever see a girl with short hair these days. Must be great for the makers of hair care products. My mother had my long hair cut when I went to secondary school “to make it easier to manage on my own” and I have never persevered with growing it again. Not sure that long silver hair wouldn’t make me look a bit witch-like though.

I suspect that William probably likes her with her hair down given it was only a half "up" do for their wedding.

She's always worn her hair loose so doubt if it's got anything to do with MM. Not much of a contest anyway!

Sago Tue 17-Jun-25 16:10:04

She is lucky to have a beautiful head of hair still and she should wear it how she wishes.
She is graceful, elegant and the epitome of class.

I have it on good authority she has a stylist with whom she checks out certain garments, they are then sent to her they are tried and fitted.

My daughter worked for a company whose clothing was selected by the Princess, when she was photographed wearing the garment it sent the orders into the stratosphere and helped promote a small UK business.

Natasha Archer -

"'Tash' has been working with the Royal Family since 2007, earning her big promotion in 2014 after giving her honest opinion on Kate's nude court shoes and proving that she was a dab hand at packing her royal tour suitcases. She has been widely credited with helping Kate move from girl-next-door to the elegant princess the world recognises today."

I think you need your eyes tested. It’s that or your getting the 2 women confused 🤦🏼‍♀️

Kate1949 Tue 17-Jun-25 17:24:49

Catherine's hair is beautiful. I have a friend who is 74 and has waist length, grey hair. It is stunning - shiny and lustrous.

ginny Tue 17-Jun-25 18:29:34

She does always look lovely and elegant.
Of course not withstanding her own choice, she will have stylists and a pretty high budget.

Cold Tue 17-Jun-25 20:40:23

Kate re-wears a lot of her clothes so she gets value for money.

The white "Self Portrait" dress that she wore for the Order of the Garter has been worn at least 4 times now - in 2021, 2022 and twice in 2025.

Can’t imagine her twerking! She’s much too dignified. I think she’s a great asset to the RF.

windmill1 Wed 18-Jun-25 08:46:35

The Princess is frighteningly THIN not merely slim. She looks like a strong gust of wind might snap her in half.

Bukkie Wed 18-Jun-25 08:55:14

Thank you windmill. All those on here saying she is naturally tall and slim are in denial that Catherine is dangerously THIN and not just SLIM. I think they think it makes them superior and that we are being nasty when in fact it's the opposite and we are genuinely concerned.

Anniebach Wed 18-Jun-25 09:50:15

Surely after being treated for cancer she will be monitored for several years

Bukkie Wed 18-Jun-25 09:53:49

I agree she will be carefully monitored and have the best of healthcare but she was dangerously thin long before she had cancer.

Anniebach Wed 18-Jun-25 10:05:31

Her family would be concerned if she had an eating disorder surely?
