What footwear with wide leg cropped trousers?

Instead of an ankle boot try something a bit higher but not quite to the knee, 3/4 length of a Doc style, Pavers have some great patterns and colours.

Depends how cropped they are on you? How about Biker style Boots or similar.
I wear wide leg jeans but I team with Trainers or loafers, however not cropped.
Check out sites like M&S and see what they match with theirs.

I sometimes see women wearing wide legged trousers in winter with matching opaque tights underneath for warmth, and flat pumps. It looks good.

Boots would be fine too, but not ankle boots ...

I’d go for loafers or ballet flats - I’ve seen a few people wearing pointy ballet flats with them, but I’m not so keen on those.

If you are short legged I would try and get a similar colour to the trousers so it doesn't look cut off in the middle of the leg.

I wear loafers with wide leg trousers but don't wear cropped styles. Ballet flats or Mary Janes are other options.

I agree though about it depending on where they are cropped and biker boots might be an option.

I was going to suggest something obvious like tights and trainers but then I came across this webpage which made me smile 😃

This style and length does not look good on anyone with anything, it is unflattering whatever you wear with it. Gently ease it out of your wardrobe and learn from the mistake.

50Grammaretto Hilarious! Just because something is in fashion doesn't mean it suits all. I laugh at the thought of cropped trousers with trainers or flats, try wading through rain and snow in them.

Long boots may look nice. Calf length boots too as long as the trousers are longer than the length. They look odd when they get stuck on the top!!

I wear mine with patent loafers in various colours. Burgundy loafers are my favourite at the moment
