Wondering about a robot vacuum.

Hi, I'm wondering about robot vacuums for the day-to-day crumbs.

I know they have come on leaps and bounds recently but would love to hear people's actual experience of them. I don't want a super-expensive one as can still use my existing cleaner (although it's too big and heavy to get out as often as I'd like).

Oh my! After reading this thread, I bought one off ebay. We've had it for a couple of days and we're delighted with it! It did cause some alarm the first night, when we found it had done the ground floor again during the night... I've put it down to simply finding its way around. smile

Check the programming/scheduling, Blinko It may have just been doing what it thinks you told it to. Or maybe it was looking for a snack.

Not sure what it was thinking, Elegran. No further issues with it though and it means I can get rid of my huge, heavy Dyson. Good!
