In real life, Victor would never have let her go of course! Also in real life, Rose would have told Harry about her cancer the next day [or TB or whatever it was.]Not good for viewing though , real life is it? I think the waiting staff in the dining room were probably holding boxes of paper hankies phoenix but it could have been mops and buckets ! lol. What am I thankful for? That it's come to an end. I wish Downton would come back soon. Am enjoying Blandings though, last week's episode was so funny [where Beech the butler kept falling asleep.]

I wonder why Rose is dying in 1915 as in real life she died in 1918, after contracting congestion of the lungs following Spanish Flue. Seems a bit odd to make it different, but maybe it makes a better more poignant story. All the other charaters seemed to end the series quite satisfactorily!
