I was looking forward to the Hive Alive (?) prog last night, about bees. But it annoyed me so much I had to turn over! Does anyone else get irritated at the patronising style of theses programmes?!! They don't just TELL you something, they go through a ridiculous pantomime of rehearsed conversation with the 'expert', or an equally silly conversation between the TWO presenters (surely one is enough?). But the thing that finished it for me is this: the first five minutes are spent showing us mini clips of what we are GOING to see; then we see it, and blow me down! the presenter says 'so far we have seen....' and tells us what we have just seen!! That was when I turned over. Do they think all the potential viewers for a 'Nature' programme are dim-witted with the attention span of a gnat?
So much TV has been dumbed down. Or is it just me getting grumpier by the day?
Walking sticks in "tottery" in old age
do you still buy BBC radio times?
What did you you think you would have by your current age that you don't?
Soops kitchen, a place of reflection, refuge and at times revelry.

In the end, you hardly need to watch the programme itself because of all the repeated bits!
