I preferred the botanist's garden. I thought Sean's was a bit of a mess - too much stuff. I am completely underwhelmed by the Chelsea show gardens this year. Some of them can only be described as dull. The only ones that stand out for me are the Sentabale, the Singapore and the Islam gardens.

If you mean Alan Titchmarsh Ruby I think he had a bit of a 'dust up' with the BBC hence his disappearance.

Does anyone know where Alan is this year and why he is not presenting the flower show?

I loved Sean's too and I am glad he won. I am looking forward to seeing his garden proper although someone said he is not being judged on it?

I liked Sean's garden the best, followed by Rob's.

My money was on Paul until the final. I thought Rob deserved to win.

I'm no gardener but loved the programme.

Although Sean was a lovely genuine man, we thought the Botanist would win this round. They didn't mention the circular hanging garden sculpture/ornament which represented a microscope, we thought it looked good.

I wasn't that keen on Sean's garden but it was close so he was a worthy winner.

I wonder if all the other gardens just get ripped out. The cost of each one was staggering and I suppose the BBC will fund Sean's garden at Chelsea?

Yes I watched it, am trying to create a cottage garden myself, it's in the very early stages, lots of bare earth !!!
I enjoyed it, but can't say I really learnt anything new.

It must be on TV every night this week, as tonight it is the "formal" garden.

Not exactly cottage gardens as we know them but the plots were so small.

I liked the New England one.

Am just watching it now!
