BBC lose Great British Bake Off

I'm glad the Beeb stood up to them. Its license payers money the production company was after.

Someone with sense has sold them to ITV. Personally, I would have sent them all to the Tower of London and chucked their Blue Peter badges in with them. [sick emoticon not yet available] .

I always worry one of her nails will come off when she's carefully taking a tiny morsel of someone's cake!

Don't think she's anything like as irritating or past it as Brucie though.

I wonder how much she is paid? Reminds me a bit of what Bruce Forsyth was like with strictly, not knowing when to give up . To bloomin' greedy .

Actually Mary Berry is starting to get on my nerves a bit . She is so false .
False smile, false teeth ( she has to gnaw on the side), false nails, false eyelashes, hair weaves etc.
I think she is well and truly past it .

I'm surprised about Mary Berry going with it to itv. Still, money and celebrity. Not to be turned down.

Programmes that started on BBC rarely do well on other channels. Greedy production company playing hard ball and the BBC called their bluff. Good! Can't believe Mary will go with them. I certainly won't bother to watch.

I echo Tabitha, that the end of GBBO as far as I'm concerned. Let's hope we keep Strictly on the beeb! ?
