So, as the trial has been and gone, we are all glad that Helen won, and Rob had his true self revealed, will the rift 'tween Adam & Ian be healed?

Whose jam will be judged to be the best? Will Joe approach his final rest?

Will Grange Farm rent be paid on time?

Can I be arsed inspired to write more drivel rhyme?

Away we go!

Hooray for Lillian!
Hooray for Oliver!

merlotgran Thu 10-Nov-16 20:26:23

I do hope Oliver makes it known to Justin that his precious Estate Manager has been refused a hunt subscription and WHY.

Elrel Fri 11-Nov-16 05:29:39

AjayF - I'll second that. The man is becoming even more dangerous. Psychopath can't grasp that he's lost, he can no longer divide people who have known and trusted each other for years. Plus sensible Johnny of course who was but briefly dazzled by the attentions of Mt T.
He should go home to mummy and maybe Daddy Bruce will find him a nice quiet padded cell, He could still end up in nasty noisy prison like other rapists of course.

Rob is getting more isolated + possibly deranged. Love where this storyline is going.

Lazigirl Fri 11-Nov-16 14:35:35

I think that this story is becoming a pantomime in itself, never mind "Mother Goose". I do want to believe in storylines just a little bit, and Rob's carry on and his unlikely employment is stretching it. Am almost feeling sorry for him and his mental health! I did say almost. As for Pip and boyfriend shenanigans - more pantomime.

merlotgran Fri 11-Nov-16 14:50:55

Alcoholic poisoning for the Christmas storyline?

AyjayF Fri 11-Nov-16 18:07:18

Agree Pip needs a good shaking ( not a euphemism!!)

phoenix Fri 11-Nov-16 19:35:12

Oh my word, another classic line tonight!

Susan "I got exactly the same from your Father, when I suggested getting his nose hairs lasered!" grin

Now on my list, along with:

Pip "I'll never eat one of your cakes again!"

And:

Neil (or Neal?) "Wine! On a Monday!!!

AyjayF Fri 11-Nov-16 20:42:41

What happens when Justin wants Rob to work/ travel at weekends?

AyjayF Tue 15-Nov-16 19:20:26

Shula feels she + Alastair have such a wonderful relationship now. Oh dear. What could possibly go wrong??

merlotgran Tue 15-Nov-16 22:10:41

I wonder if the new vet will be the next tenant at BHC?

Elrel Wed 16-Nov-16 02:43:36

Ayjay - I had a bad feeling as soon as the young, talented, equestrian one turned up. Maybe not Alistair though, won't she be working sloseley with the jolly and hunky young farrier? Alice has really been riding (oops!) for a fall recently.

Luckygirl Wed 16-Nov-16 13:41:30

Lots of clodhopping hints that Alistair will have his leg over the fair Anisha pretty soon.

The dreaded Rob is know as Rob Titchyknob in our house. grin

AyjayF Wed 16-Nov-16 14:09:14

Actually I was thinking more that Alastair will have more time ( + money) for gambling. Can't imagine the new vet would fall for him

merlotgran Wed 16-Nov-16 14:22:40

I wonder who will be the first to tip her off about Rob?

merlotgran Sun 20-Nov-16 20:49:10

Will Rob also have a copy of the psychologist's report? shock

There's a delicious spoiler on the Mumsnet thread for anyone who enjoys reading them and I wonder who was phoning Helen on a witheld number?

Iam64 Mon 21-Nov-16 07:42:32

Yes , Rob will have received his copy of the psychological report. It makes me smile just to think about his reactions. No doubt, he'll dismiss it out of hand as the work of a 12 year old girl guide who knows nothing of life. I don't expect the Judge will though.

Nelliemoser Mon 21-Nov-16 07:50:39

Luckygirl My thoughts about Alistair as well. Just as Shula is rabbiting on about how much better she and Alistair seem to be getting on. If she is off being a master of foxhounds Alistair could get up to anything. And Shula could get time with Dr Locke but I very much doubt if he would be impressed by fox hunting.

Lazigirl Mon 21-Nov-16 13:14:35

Pity Justin didn't make Rob undergo psychometric testing before employing him. On second thoughts maybe ruthless psychopaths are what they want in business these days!

merlotgran Mon 21-Nov-16 13:21:47

I think it's all leading up to an 'explosive' (Rob's handy with a shotgun) Christmas storyline. He'll be working his way through as many Ambridge residents as he can terrorise and the psych report won't have put him in the best frame of mind.

Can't wait grin

AyjayF Mon 21-Nov-16 18:00:38

Bring it on, Rob!

Daddima Mon 21-Nov-16 18:09:31

Can I ask why Rob had to have a psychological test? Was it the family court who asked for it, and did Helen have one also?
I seem to have missed something.

Iam64 Mon 21-Nov-16 18:18:07

The family court ordered a psychological assessment after the Judge found the social work assessment of Rob as having emotionally abused Henry and so leaving Henry and Jack at risk of 'significant harm' in Rob's care. The court returned Henry to Helen's care and left Jack with her.

Elrel Mon 21-Nov-16 20:06:49

That psychological assessment of Rob was beyond what Helen could have hoped. Everyone seems to have summed him up correctly except Justin who just sees what he wants to see.

Iam64 Mon 21-Nov-16 20:25:46

Exactly Eirel. I didn't hear Lilian's disagreement with Justin last week but I did hear part of her summary of that when she was talking to someone in the pub, I think. My focus was distracted by tiny grandson, who of course got my full attention. I like Lilian as a flawed but likeable character and I do hope that Justin's support for Rob has convinced her that Justin isn't for her.

Justin is well cast in Lynda's Christmas show, isn't he, as the Villain. What next for Rob though? It does seem some kind of drama is going to unfold with him at the centre.
