So, as the trial has been and gone, we are all glad that Helen won, and Rob had his true self revealed, will the rift 'tween Adam & Ian be healed?

Whose jam will be judged to be the best? Will Joe approach his final rest?

Will Grange Farm rent be paid on time?

Can I be arsed inspired to write more drivel rhyme?

Away we go!

If Rob gets wind of Justin's liaison with Lilian he'll doubtless be blackmailing them both. Still I wonder, when will we hear about the culvert blocking and his fraud?
Loved the Grundy's wedding anniversary!

Elrel Mon 21-Nov-16 20:56:56

So jade for the 35th anniversary is a modern alternative to coral. Now I know thanks to H Samuel!

Luckygirl Mon 21-Nov-16 21:17:54

Why is it always the Grundys who do all the annual lovey-dovey stuff?

Iam64 Tue 22-Nov-16 19:42:04

Rob is not a happy narcissist is he? I thought Alan was very good with him tonight, supportive, kind and direct about the need to focus on the children, rather than his grievances.

Lazigirl Tue 22-Nov-16 19:47:36

Eirel you are right about Rob lining up to blackmail/control Lilian and Justin. I think Alan is Rob's next hate target as he doesn't sympathise with him.

Nelliemoser Tue 22-Nov-16 19:48:05

I like Lilian. She is a wonderful alternative to the more earnest amongst the Archers. Ambridge would be very dull without her.

AyjayF Tue 22-Nov-16 19:57:13

Rob is a fool if he thinks Justin or Lilian will be intimidated by him. Alan was sensible + rational. V good. Of course Rob reacted exactly as the report says he always does.
Susan + Neil are light relief. What a picture of wedded bliss they portray!

Luckygirl Tue 22-Nov-16 22:21:56

But let us hope that Alan does not encourage Rob to appear reasonable and give him the ammunition he needs to sway the custody debate in his favour.

Iam64 Wed 23-Nov-16 09:29:57

There isn't a person in the world who could encourage Rob to appear reasonable and sway the custody hearing in his favour. The report will no doubt detail the way narcissistic psychopaths can appear reasonable, charming and persuasive - that's how they target people. The Judge will have dealt with many such men (and a few women) over the years. My worry is the focus in the family courts recently of enabling non custodial parents to have direct contact , even in the face of evidence that the parent is likely to cause (or in rob's case has caused) significant harm to older brothers or sisters.

AyjayF Wed 23-Nov-16 10:57:17

Said it before. Say it again. Bring it on Rob!

Elrel Wed 23-Nov-16 20:39:12

Lilian does seem worried. Rob's trying for a repeat of his finessing small facts and tricking people into telling him more, as he did re Adam and Ian. It was so clever, subtle and down right evil.
His approach to Justin may be completely different as he knows Justin trusts him and wants to help him put things behind him. Tony should have done the 'Oh, look, something shiny!' when Rob mentioned Lilian's 'relationship'. Justin will probably be told that Tony was gossiping about him.

AyjayF Thu 24-Nov-16 19:25:59

Ooh! Tony + Lilian in a conspiracy against Rob. How delicious?

merlotgran Thu 24-Nov-16 19:42:01

Can't wait to find out what Tony has in mind.

Sounds like the Home Farm lot are going to be the next family falling apart at the seams with Brookfield right behind them.

Season of Good Cheer anyone?

Iam64 Fri 25-Nov-16 20:18:03

First Tony finds his backbone, now David has thrown a wobblie at Pip n Toby. David has obviously reached the limit of his patience with Toby and threatened him (and Pip) with eviction if they continue to operate an illegal still in the kitchen. What fireworks.

Iam64 Fri 25-Nov-16 20:19:32

By the way, Pip must be 22 or 23 mustn't she? She graduated a while ago and should be through the adolescent rebellion against her parents phase. Especially as she and her unpleasant boyfriend seem to be living rent free on her parent's farm. Grow up Pip and get rid of the freeloading Tobes.

I'm fed up with Robs character he's too predictable, I think he should get a job in Canada and stop putting those children at risk. I want Helen become really successful and happy not a victim.

AyjayF Mon 28-Nov-16 21:03:41

Has Lilian + Tony's plot against Rob started yet? Are they playing the long game?

merlotgran Mon 28-Nov-16 21:10:08

I think it has started in a subtle kind of way, Ayjay. I noticed when Lil told Jenny about her affair with Justin she said only Tony knew about it because he'd sussed what was going on. She then tells Justin that her family have put two and two together....Again, no mention of Rob.

I wonder if Tony's plan is to draw Rob out because he won't be able to bear the fact that his knowledge of the affair hasn't got them all at eachother's throats.

I wonder if Rob will tell Miranda in the same way he informed Ian of Adam's flings.

I do like a bit of skulduggery grin

AyjayF Tue 29-Nov-16 07:09:04

Just a point of detail for the scriptwriters. A baby who can sit up wouldn't/ shouldn't be in a Moses basket.

Elrel Wed 30-Nov-16 01:25:06

Ayjay - and wouldn't be in it for very long! Oops!

Elrel Wed 30-Nov-16 01:31:41

I thought that between them poor exploding Keira and lively Holly would render the yellow dress not just unreturnable but unwearable and possibly besmirch Neil's suit too. I think Holly should be in the photo anyway, someone tell Snobby Susan that it's classy to have one's dogs in one's family group.

merlotgran Wed 30-Nov-16 09:25:32

Why don't the SWs allow the children to have normal development?

Jack will probably be stuck in that Moses basket until he starts school. grin

AyjayF Thu 01-Dec-16 09:57:32

At last. A speaking role for Keira even if it was just before she threw up!

merlotgran Thu 01-Dec-16 10:03:41

Is Keira the same aga as Henry? She sounds about three.....As does Henry hmm

merlotgran Thu 01-Dec-16 10:04:26

Aga???
