Inspector Borowski

We find the Walter Presents a tv lifeline as we both like drama. On 4all we also like;

Dicte - Crime Reporter. Danish Reporter yarns (hour long episodes but each story is over two programmes - so two hours) with a running story of Dicte trying to find the son she gave up at birth. I really like this series. I can also recommend "Spin" (a bit like Borgen).

I have also enjoyed on 4all the old British tv series. See a young Daniel Craig in "Sword of Honour". The Camomile Lawn and the brilliant "A Dance to the Music of Time".

Ah, found this, now I understand, "Walter Presents" is a streaming service, so I will look for it via Netflix ...

Inspector Klaus Borowski (Axel Milberg) lives in the port city of Kiel in the north of the country and is a discreet and private loner as well as being a divorced single father. But he’s serious about his work which involve solving some of the most disturbing and unsettling crimes in Germany, with his young colleague Sarah Brandt (Sibel Kekilli). Some interesting stories and nifty directing save this from drowning in detective fiction clichés. Premieres 16 September (Credit: All 4/Walter Presents)

That's really strange, we can't find it. We have Sky and did a general search and also searched on Catch Up.

Will try via Netflix, perhaps it's only available via a "Smart TV" system. Technology can be so complicated!

We are completely comfortable with subtitles, often I don't even notice it until we're halfway through. I can't knit or crochet though and listen to the dialogue - got to read!

I found it quite easily but gave up on it as soon as I saw it had subtitles. Sorry but really can't be bothered with them.

I am not sure as to whether all tv's have this but we are on talktalk. You go into the section for apps and players; select channel 4 then into drama and you will find it. If not, go into the an to z finder and put in Inspector Borowski.

I'd also like to give it a try but couldn't find it on catch up. I found this though:

Please help a numptie here. I read Beammeupscottie's post re Inspector Borowski, and tried to find it on All 4 . No go. How do I find Walter Presents please? I found the Channel 4 site difficult, and frustrating to navigate. Have you got An Idiots Guide for me?

Yes, Cherrytree59, and he is a detective who seems to be reasonably angst-free! There is also humour in it; another bonus.

Sorry for stealing your post Beammeupscottie but just got to recommend Making a Murderer on Netflex or what ever its called, You just will not believe how low human can go.
