Maple leaf I have to agree with you about the diction. I had to turn the subtitles on. I also agree about the poor light - this was also a problem for me in ‘Hidden’.

Well I nearly gave up on it early on. It is so dark and depressing. But I got hooked, and unlike most of you, I really was gripped by it all the way through. I agree it was dark and hard to hear at times, I rewound a few times to check something.

I thought the acting and especially the cinematography was amazing, and for me the ending was not a disappointment. I knew there would be another series, and what she did was understandable. I have a long time to wait now until the next series.

Rowantree the article below says that Margaret Atwood was heavily involved in Series 2. Her name does appear in the credits.

Yes you are right Jane43, MA is still involved, I didn't realise that, and there is apparently a series 3 in the pipeline, and spoiler alert.........aunt Lydia lives to fight another day. I think we guessed as much. Oh dear I will have to continue watching now.

Unfortunately although I watched the first two series, subsequent ones clashed with other things.

Perhaps a bit late to start watching again now, and definitely haven't got enough time to watch on any sort of catch up, shame, as it seemed to be pretty well done.
