This looks good, maybe similar to Keeping Faith. The English version starts on BBC4 this Saturday at 9pm

sorry NanKate !! must read posts properly smile

NanKate Fri 29-Jun-18 21:12:13

Yes indeed Jane.

It is very kind of you Seacliff giving me the link for Hidden but in fact I want Keeping Faith a Welsh mystery type series.

Jane43 Fri 29-Jun-18 11:16:12

Discrimination against the South East NanKate!

seacliff Fri 29-Jun-18 10:31:00

I have just watched episode 3. It's growing on me, slowly. It certainly is very dark in mood and in lighting Everyone in it seems so unhappy and tortured looking. I will keep watching.

Nankate - here is a link to the programme iplayer on my laptop which has it available until early July.

Thanks All. Unfortunately even after extensive searching on BBC IPlayer KF is not available here in the SE. When series 2 arrives no doubt series 1 will be available too.

Marydoll Thu 28-Jun-18 22:38:21

We are in Scotland and view it both on iPlayer and BBC4 on a Saturday night. Watching it at this very moment.

Jane43 Thu 28-Jun-18 21:51:47

NanKate try going on iplayer and do a search for hidden. It should come up.

NanKate Thu 28-Jun-18 21:18:21

I am in the south east so maybe that is why I can’t get it, thanks anyway.

lemongrove Thu 28-Jun-18 20:41:33

I think it’s very good, and well acted ( yes, lovely scenery too)
I did find myself thinking though, I hope Anniebach is not watching this.Or anyone else who has had a similar situation in any way in real life.flowers
The only actor who I find not so good as the others, is, unfortunately the main character, the female DI.

Jane43 Thu 28-Jun-18 20:35:18

NanKate. It’s on mine, 4 episodes. Are you in a different region? Sometimes it’s different for Scotland or Wales. I hope you can get it.

NanKate Thu 28-Jun-18 20:04:12

Are you sure Jane that is where I watched it a month or so ago, but I think they have withdrawn it now? Please prove me wrong.

Jane43 Thu 28-Jun-18 17:14:33

NanKate it's on. BBC iplayer.

NanKate Wed 27-Jun-18 19:28:07

Where are you watching it Jane43 as I would love to rewatch it ?

Jane43 Wed 27-Jun-18 13:55:17

I have watched three episodes and find it slow going. Lots of dark scenes which my ageing eyes find hard to cope with. I will stick with it as I find the lead actress very good.

trisher Thu 14-Jun-18 09:49:05

Well I watched it. Lovely scenery, but a dodgy plot with a lot of things taken from other dramas, which I could have coped with until SPOILER ALERT.
If you find a body with a name bracelet on it surely that bracelet becomes a major part of the evidence and you search for misspers with that name first. Overlooking it until a detective studies the photos carefully seems unlikely.
Can't decide if it is worth continuing with.

Anniebach Thu 14-Jun-18 09:05:42

Terri, I was just thrown hearing the name Cadi, Never hear it .

TerriBull Thu 14-Jun-18 08:46:19

Caught up with it the other night, scenery stunning, it's very much in the Scandi style, quite dark, nevertheless it drew me in, although I have to say I think I prefer the much lauded "Keeping Faith" which had some lighter moments especially around the family's life. Looking forward to a second series of that.

I will wait to see how this one develops. I hear Welsh dramas set a high standard, although I did think that when the first of the Scandinavian series reached our shores, "The Killing", The Bridge" and "Borgen" very good, but inevitably we have got some that have not been of the same standard.

Sorry it plays on your emotions Annie flowers

BlueBelle Thu 14-Jun-18 05:09:10

Oh thanks so much for the heads up I m used to them normally being straight on maybe cos it’s welsh tv ??

NanKate Wed 13-Jun-18 23:52:48

I can perfectly understand Annie how you were thrown and unable to watch. I can never watch series where young children are abducted or murdered, since I have two grandsons of my own.

maryeliza54 Wed 13-Jun-18 23:14:27

BB just went on IPlayer and episode 2 is now there

oldbatty Wed 13-Jun-18 20:13:59

the scenery was stunning. I'm sorry but the old chestnut of " we've found the mutilated body of an attractive young girl" thing has been dome to death hasnt it/

I question the level of violence and degradation we watch as entertainment. Whats is doing to us?

BlueBelle Wed 13-Jun-18 18:42:42

I watched the first episode and thoroughly enjoyed it missed second episode as was away for the weekend went to watch it on iPad but it’s not available Anybody got any clues as to why ?

callgirl1 Sun 10-Jun-18 18:51:59

I`m afraid we gave up halfway through the first episode, despite the beautiful scenery it just wasn`t grabbing us. A shame, because I love N.Wales and Snowdonia.

Anniebach Fri 08-Jun-18 22:28:12

It just threw me NanKate , watch a lot of Welsh drama but the use of Cadi isn’t used for some reason, it is in the North

Anniebach Fri 08-Jun-18 22:25:29

Very much like Hinterland NanKate
