I saw this earlier, featuring Rob Rinder, a very emotional and sad, but also uplifting story of his family`s struggles during WW2, a good few ending up in the gas chambers, plus his great grandfather`s mental problems after serving in WW1 for a part of Russia that is now Latvia. A very emotional programme.
They were married by Benedict Cumberbatch who "became ordained in order to marry them." I looked this up and he ordained with the Universal Life Church as have many celebrities (Paul McCartney, Richard Branson). On their website you can click "Get ordained for free now" - well I never!!
FlexibleFriend I noticed that in some of the shots on "Who" he was wearing a wedding ring, and in others he wasn't, so maybe they split up during the filming.
As someone has commented, he is articulate, and I must say it was refreshing to hear someone making sensible comments instead of "Wow!" and "Amazin'" every few minutes. I liked him before this programme (his love of family came over when he was on Strictly), and I like him even more now.
I've just been watching a recorded episode of "Judge Rinder" and there was a fantastic trailer for his next series showing him playing the piano beautifully. I like him even more now. He's a very talented man.
