I watched it as well, a bit predictable and weak in places I thought. Martin Clunes can do better than this.

Couldn't bear it. Switched off and cancelled further recordings. He should be in much better written material.

I was looking forward to this as I love Martin but I didn't find it remotely funny.

We thought it was beyond dire, will not be watching this again.

We watched but won’t be bothering again. Shame , as have enjoyed everything else that Martin Clunes has been in.

Another one who found it dire. What was Martin Clunes thinking ? Poor script writing with ideas that are so old and worn out.
It was supposed to be set in Preston, only the wife and friend seemed to have local dialects. Prepared to be corrected on that one.
I won’t watch it again, either.

I was expecting it to be funny as well but it was awful.

Disappointing. He's such a good actor and is wasted in this. His wife was so silly - which made it even worse!

Agree that Martin Clunes was rather wasted in this, and really didn’t like the ‘wife’. Thought the boys were quite good, and although we watched all the way through, hope it improves as it goes on.

I enjoyed it and thought it quite funny love Martin clones and how diverse he is. Will be watching it again.

Was looking forward to this.....what a waste of my ten minutes( switched off then) what with the idiot wife and the workshy son and lazy sterotyping and poor dialogue it was a real waste of Clunes talent.

Found it shockingly bad .And I know it's not real life but the fly tipping thing made me furious. Martin Clunes is very talented,and I'm amazed he's even bit involved in this.I'd be looking for a new agent if I was him.

Well I liked it - thought it was very funny! Love Martin Clunes and I think he's such a good actor.

We watched it but won't be watching it again. Some funny bits but most of it too far fetched.

I thought it was so disappointing. The dim-witted female characters straight out of a very bad 70s sitcom, the “LOL isn’t flytipping hilarious?” incident, the clunky script. The sons were just about believable and had some decent lines, but the rest.....
