New drama, The Cheat, ITV

Well I watched again and no wonder I wasn’t bowled over first time I d actually fell asleep though parts 2 and 3 anyway watched it again and loved it Hooked
Brilliant, only trouble is it’s on same time as Shetland tonight which do I watch and which gets watched afterwards on the iPad

I didn't get the hint about the cat at all..

The husband doesn't seem very nice does he? In fact, I'm not warming to any of the characters but think the story so far is good and the acting excellent.

I wonder if there will be a "twist" to this drama.

henetha I agree with your observation that so many dramas of this sort "fizzle out" or have completely ridiculous endings. One that immediately comes to mind is The Replacement featuring Vicky McClure (she's brilliant in Line of Duty).

The cat resembled Tara too much for my liking although Tara is sleeker the colouring was similar.

As soon as I saw the cat, I thought "this is not going to end well for the moggy" Being a cat lover that's not a good scenario for me. When I first watched "Alien" years ago, I only really cared about the fate of the cat, even more than poor John Hurt who had something rather nasty burst forth from his stomach "I can live with that" thought I," as long as the cat stays safe".

Brilliant start. Let's hope the end is as good as the beginning.
Sometimes these dramas fizzle out and become implausible.

It was something she said, Tanith. Also it seemed probable in that kind of drama. Maybe she killed her husband? Of course I could be wrong!! looking forward to tonight.

The back and forth thing foxed me a bit but I’m hoping it all comes together more for me tonight. I like complicated dramas on consecutive nights rather than weeks as I tend to forget what’s what and who’s who when I have to wait a week....!

Hooked already, Rosie seems like a physco to me but who knows, these kind of thrillers always have a twist at the end. Can't wait for the next episodes.
