I'm starting this new thread as apparently our other one was over a year old!! shock

We'll have to do more gossiping to prevent this happening again.

Here's a link to the old one.

I wish the it had been a job share with Tracy + Freddie. The comic possibilities would be endless!!

Lazigirl Mon 12-Aug-19 19:26:52

More like a stand up comedy show tonight what with Tracey H and Kenton - "More tea vicar"? grin

I loved Clarrie's response to Susan's rant about prison!

Avor2 Sun 11-Aug-19 15:40:03

Can I slap Susan please.
Who thinks that the new vet has got a type of Aspergers? He seems to be slightly odd inasmuch as he seems to take things too literally, no sense of humour (although there isn't much to laugh at in Ambridge), Perhaps Kate will realise this and make it her life's work to help him by giving him extras like she offered ) Or am I getting a bit carried away (anything rather than think about Emma and Ed and bloody Susan)
Will Oliver fall in love with Tracy Horabin, marry her and give her Grey Gables as a wedding present ??? I have got hundreds of story lines if they want them - or not !!??!!

Yawn!

eGJ Sat 10-Aug-19 11:30:06

Worse than that! Shula is meeting the Diocesan Director of Ordinands!

NfkDumpling Sat 10-Aug-19 11:05:13

There's probably no mention of Ed next week as the SW will go off onto a completely different plot line and the Grundy's will be ignored. I've noticed that when there's a cliff hanger one day, there's not much point in listening the next as it'll all be ordinary chat type stuff about the fete or some such. They did that with Helen and Thing. Next week will probably be all be about Natasha and Tom.

merlotgran Sat 10-Aug-19 11:00:32

I'm hoping Eddie will have been behaving true to form and if the van had some tax and MOT left didn't bother to inform the DVLA that he was the new owner.

Therefore, Tim will shoot himself in the foot because the police will be knocking at his door.

I can but dream. grin

Lazigirl Sat 10-Aug-19 10:54:09

That's what I thought Merlot. They made a point of mentioning Ed's fingerprints. Oh dear! I suppose Emma will be weeping and wailing when he's arrested. Ed's caught between a rock and a hard place......the crooks or the police.

merlotgran Sat 10-Aug-19 09:41:51

Eddie is not thinking ahead. The van will be registered in his name and Ed's fingerprints will be all over the boxes. Tim will no doubt have been wearing gloves when he loaded up the boxes so all he has to do is dump the van somewhere and wait for the police to find it!

Autocorrect made Clarrie into Clarke, but I’m sure TA gransnetters knew who I meant rather than Superman?

eGJ Fri 09-Aug-19 19:20:04

We didn’t think it would get any worse......Clarke and Susan falling out and Ed not in the cast next week. RT says a Grundy goes to hospital- let’s hope it isn’t Ed!

eGJ Tue 06-Aug-19 21:01:01

Special organic tea and soothing music probably grumpa?

grumppa Tue 06-Aug-19 20:02:12

What ARE the extras that Kate the masseuse is offering?

Luckygirl Tue 06-Aug-19 19:48:40

Could this at last be the demise of poor Joe?

eGJ Tue 06-Aug-19 19:22:36

Ed’s just promised not to go off again, however he is not in next week’s cast. The plot thickens and we all hope it won’t get too disastrous. One of the Grundy faces a dash to hospital says RT. The one-liners don’t help,?

Sara65 Tue 06-Aug-19 15:50:41

Not quite as dangerous as Coronation Street though, Luckygirl

NotSpaghetti Tue 06-Aug-19 15:29:17

*Luckygirl, ?

Luckygirl Tue 06-Aug-19 13:39:17

It really is dangerous living in Ambridge - so many seem to finish up in the nick!

Lazigirl Tue 06-Aug-19 13:18:08

Clink will come later Merlot and Emma will become doting, caring wife once more.

merlotgran Tue 06-Aug-19 11:34:17

I predict Joe will die while they're still at Grange Farm and Ed will move into No1 with Clarrie and Eddie.

That's if he's not in clink.

Sara65 Tue 06-Aug-19 10:34:52

Lazigirl

Totally agree

Lazigirl Tue 06-Aug-19 10:31:53

Been away and only just caught up. My sympathies are actually with Ed. I think he is portrayed as quite an ethical person, and became involved with the crooks against his better judgment because Emma was pressurising him, for basically what they couldn't afford. No doubt the SWs will bring the crooks back into play at a crucial moment sad. He also felt honest enough to tell the mortgage company. Brilliant acting. I think Emma does understandably want a decent home for her family, and the programme is doing a good job of highlighting the problem for many young couples in their situation. However she lost my sympathy going round begging for cash. I don't think that really is what her character would have done, but it adds interest to the story. I think Ed showed guts at last leaving her, but no doubt they'll have a happy ending eventually.

Sara65 Mon 05-Aug-19 20:06:33

eGJ

I agree, we need to know what’s going on!

eGJ Mon 05-Aug-19 19:19:10

Never really liked Phillip! Kate never learns does she.....but WE wanted to hear about Ed and Emmer?
