Leonard and Jill get on my nerves to be honest

Saint Leonard is beginning to get on my nerves. He's only just got to know the Archer family but whenever there's a problem he's there with his words of wisdom.

I think the Archers are real people - please don't tell me they are well known actors - I prefer to live in my own imaginative bubble.

Camilla was presumably a tool to make a point for mental health week, as has been mentioned.
I don’t think Lilly would mind Russ pairing up with Elizabeth she appears to be going off him, and maybe the new humble Freddy would not object either but I think she deserves better.
Freddy will warm to Russ when they show the pictures in the loft in the art gallery and sell one or all of them for a price that will solve all their money problems.
I wonder if the writers read this thread for ideas, or conversely to change the plot if we quess it in advance and steal their thunder?

Of course, Iam64, camilla was a ghastly character. There was great scope for subtlety and innuendo to be played, and Patricia Hodge I’m sure would have found it. The perf. was plonky. You could almost hear the pages turning. No matter. It got Freddie into the stables.

Merelina - Patricia Hodge is an actor, she was playing an obvious unsubtle character !

PLEASE don’t say camilla was played by Patricia Hodge! She would never give such a heavy,obvious unsubtle performance.

Bring back Nigel and here is how: Elizabeth takes up genealogy as a hobby and finds that Nigel was a twin, separated at birth. She takes a DNA test and links up with his missing identical sibling. They meet up and low and behold, he looks and sounds just like Nigel. They fall in love and marry and the mistake of killing off a much loved character is rectified.

That’s what I think, Crystaltipps, Russ and Elizabeth will become an item leading to a very bitter and explosive storyline.

I also thought that Camilla forgot that her mother was an ex dancer rather than an aristocrat.

I think they had Camilla on tonight just so they could show an example of the ‘pull yourself together’ brigade as opposed to the ‘understanding’ of mental health Elizabeth is promoting in her role.
