I'm starting this new thread as apparently our other one was over a year old!! shock

We'll have to do more gossiping to prevent this happening again.

Here's a link to the old one.

Poor Freddie! Linda really shouldn’t share with Tracy!

Greeneyedgirl Sun 16-Feb-20 22:41:06

No, trouble’s in the offing for the newly reformed Freddie I fear, but I’m loving how they’ve developed Tracey’s character. She & Jazzer are TA’s resident ‘stand-ups’.

Lynda is throwing her weight around a bit for a receptionist. Oliver is the owner, Cathy (now silent character) is the manager and Roy the assistant manager.

She wouldn't really have that much sway in RL.

NotSpaghetti Mon 17-Feb-20 11:25:35

I'd completely forgotten Kathy had gone to manage Grey Gables after the saga at the golf club.
Why is she never mentioned? Are the script writers all new so they don't know about her?

AyjayF Mon 17-Feb-20 19:47:11

As for Kate are we thinking early menopause?

Iam64 Mon 17-Feb-20 19:48:54

I do wish they'd let Cathy out of the cupboard where the silent all live. She was a good character, and TA needs more like her.

Yes AyjayF it menopause (I hope, we can't have Kate abandoning another child when she gets bored)

Looking like a distinct possibility, AyjayF

merlotgran Wed 19-Feb-20 19:27:03

How will Lynda go to the loo?

grumppa Wed 19-Feb-20 19:36:45

A question that is troubling me, too, merlotgran. Firm of will, iron of bladder, I suppose.

phoenix Wed 19-Feb-20 19:51:23

Industrial strength Tena Lady?

LullyDully Wed 19-Feb-20 20:05:09

She is being very silly and considerably annoying imo.smile

midgey Wed 19-Feb-20 20:07:49

No change there then LullyDully!

merlotgran Wed 26-Feb-20 19:44:23

Can this please be the end of the Jim/Jayston storyline? I think it has run its course now?

I hope Kate and Jakob stay together. They're a great double act and Jakob is touchingly kind to her whereas everyone else shows their exasperation.

Iam64 Wed 26-Feb-20 19:49:42

The Jim talking about and beginning to process feelings about his abuse experience has been TA at its best.

NotSpaghetti Wed 26-Feb-20 20:08:03

Yes. I think so too Iam64. It's the way he's struggled that has been so interesting and "real".
I do hope that this storyline helps some people.

LullyDully Thu 27-Feb-20 10:04:21

I enjoy the amusing characters. Kate and Tracy are great. The naming ceremony came off well but what happened to the goat yoga?
Also what happened to Jennifer's Jacob sheep? . In fact, what has happened to Jennifer, she was always good for a giggle?

We seem to have lost some of the regular story lines.

merlotgran Thu 27-Feb-20 10:07:05

What's happened to Pat's goats?

LullyDully Thu 27-Feb-20 17:41:54

Not to mention. What happened to Pat?

merlotgran Thu 27-Feb-20 17:53:40

Maybe Pat's been kidnapped by the Gills at Home Farm along with Kathy Perks and Carol Tregorran.

Iam64 Thu 27-Feb-20 18:12:02

The Silent are confined to a cupboard at the bbc. I wish they’d make a bid for freedom

LullyDully Thu 27-Feb-20 19:09:32

At least we know what happened to Joe.

merlotgran Tue 03-Mar-20 19:32:50

I know the episodes are recorded a few weeks earlier but I'm surprised they haven't slotted in a reference to Coronavirus. Like in all communities it would be a topic of conversation.

I wonder who will be the elderly victim.

Auntie Chris? Peggy? Carol Tregorran? Bert Fry?

merlotgran Wed 04-Mar-20 19:44:53

It's pretty obvious where Tom's lost ring storyline is going isn't it?

Greeneyedgirl Mon 09-Mar-20 18:22:09

?? We've got to listen tonight.

eGJ Mon 09-Mar-20 18:46:43

There is a Doctor in the cast list in the RT, but no Gav! Aah, must not miss it?
