I'm starting this new thread as apparently our other one was over a year old!! shock

We'll have to do more gossiping to prevent this happening again.

Here's a link to the old one.

The Bee at Ambridge - for goodness sake! The scriptwriters really are desperate now.

vegansrock Sun 12-Jan-20 11:10:47

Will Kirsty’s wedding clash with the son’s extravagant plans?

glammagran Sun 12-Jan-20 10:38:22

Now that Helen and Lee have properly got together as a couple I am starting to fear for his future. I suspect Rob will make a covert reappearance and Lee’s days are numbered.

Patsy70 Sat 11-Jan-20 17:36:23

I do listen, but as you say, Merlot, the scriptwriting isn't so good these days. Where is the drama?

LullyDully Fri 10-Jan-20 19:45:59

Good news about Kirsty. She deserves some luck . Let's hope they don't plan a wedding in Bali.

Oh yes, Charlie Thomas. He started off in Ambridge as a dislikeable character but once he started having suspicions about Rob we were all sorry when he was written out.

Good scriptwriting in those days.

LullyDully Thu 09-Jan-20 08:00:14

Charlie Thomas. Just thought I would say.

That's a good idea, let the dreadful Hannah do her worst.

Thank you all for getting this thread going again!

Luckygirl Wed 08-Jan-20 22:26:19

Ditto - same thought here.

Sara65 Wed 08-Jan-20 22:06:51

I hope so, I just love Neil.

Neil and Rex and the intelligent little pigs, happy days!

Scribbles Wed 08-Jan-20 21:57:33

The same thoughts were crossing my mind, Merlot.

merlotgran Wed 08-Jan-20 21:48:04

I think Neil and Rex will join forces. Berrow will eventually be forced to close down due to bad husbandry just as it did when it was a mega dairy in the Rob Titchener/Charlie whatsisname days.

Luckygirl Wed 08-Jan-20 19:21:18

Resurrection here - for phoenix smile

I love the way Susan is saying she thinks Neil has changed since doing this job - she was the one always trying to change him!!

I have missed a lot of the Archers for a while.
I don't quite know why I used to follow it avidly.

LullyDully Thu 12-Dec-19 20:24:19

Tony having a common sense failure. What a daft man.He

AllotmentLil Wed 11-Dec-19 22:26:28

I hope you’re right merlotgran! What a piece of work!

merlotgran Wed 11-Dec-19 21:44:12

Don't worry, Sara65 Justin has her card marked.

She really is a piece of work!

katie1 Wed 11-Dec-19 21:00:44

Does anyone else think that during Jim's ghost story readings Nigel will appear?? Didn't he go into the attic to get onto the roof, which he fell off? Setting Elizabeth's well- being back ?

Sara65 Wed 11-Dec-19 07:52:20

I’ve missed a couple this week, but just had to say how much I HATE Hannah!

LullyDully Wed 11-Dec-19 07:39:46

Let's hope Helen gets some luck in her life , Lee seems so different from the horrible Rob. I suppose he may come out of the woodwork one day. I am not sure if she is divorced, does anyone remember?

gulligranny Tue 10-Dec-19 22:05:25

We really hate Hannah, you just wouldn't talk to your boss like she does and expect to keep your job. A very nasty piece of work ....

Loved Lynda and Robert, and their "magic" !

merlotgran Tue 10-Dec-19 21:34:37

So Helen is happy to break up another relationship in order to get what she wants?

You'd think Kenton would be buttering up to David to get the outside bars for the wedding venue not taking the piss. hmm

Neil should have known immediately that the food source is a likely cause of tail biting and it was Hannah who insisted on rushing the added nutrients. He is a numpty to let her walk all over him.

eGJ Sun 08-Dec-19 19:18:49

The Archers must have a good scriptwriter this week! No spoilers for you who haven’t listened yet, but all over the country I could hear people shouting “YES”!?

Sara65 Wed 27-Nov-19 21:34:01

Yes Tracey and Lynda, a good double act.

Iam64 Wed 27-Nov-19 21:33:17

Greeneyed, I was about to respond to merlot with exactly your comment. Yes, there is still time for Mr Titch to appear
