Started this thread as a diversion from all the political ones.
Only watched the first half hour as I wasn’t that bothered who was partnered with who really. Find the launch show a bit drawn out TBH.
Realised I only knew 5 of the 15 contestants, but that will change as the weeks go on.
Liked Tess’s gown, thought Claudia’s outfit looked similar to the PVC macs we wore in the early 70’s.

What am I going to watch next Saturday?! I really loved this series because for once there was not somebody who had been dancing on a West End stage for years. Mnay of them started off as non dancers so it was a level playing field.

My favourite didn't win, but I thought the whole series was magnificent. Well done to all the dancers.

I read online today that Emma Barton has been offered a part on the West End stage. It's good to know she will be putting all this training to good use. I remember Jill Halfpenny did the same.

Loved, Loved, Loved the whole series and was happy that Kelvin and Oti won.
We've the Christmas Special to look forward to now....grin

I liked both Karim and Kelvin. But for me, Karim is a young lad, while Kelvin is a mature man with life experience which comes through in the dance. Passion, grit and .....eh sexy!

Carlos Acosta, now there is a hot blooded man with thighs like aircraft carriers. Love him.

Kelvin was a worthy winner, especially after the fabulous show dance. I feared that people might have voted for Anton and Emma because they thought it was Anton’s only chance of winning. I would also have been happy for Karin to win.

Hmmm Marilla .... must check him out again, just to see if you're right about the thighs, of course! blush

Sunday night and no results show to look forward to, I’m missing it already.

I thought it was obvious that Karim had previous dancing experience. He went to theatre school as a youngster and has already appeared on the West End stage. Kelvin, although a very experienced actor, had his stage education in Oldham Theatre Workshop - also attended by many Corrie actors. He stood out from the very first show and, I believe, never scored under 30. A very worthy winner. I believe Karim will go on to a successful career on the musical stage.
