I watched her interviewing a politian this morning. From the start she was rude and abrupt. Then she gave very audible huff and sigh. Is she not supposed to interview with impartiality? She is just so rude and opinionated.

I never watch BBC Morning Show or whatever it's called anymore.

I like her. Didn't see the interview as I sleep in these days and tend to avoid anything tory anyway. No point in listening, don't think I've ever seen/heard one caught out telling the truth.

I can't stand her either, she's rude, condescending and too full of herself. I heave a sigh of relief when she's not there.

I hate that woman's hair. It's just awful. Every time I see her it annoys me and yes she is extremely rude!

Naga is very abrasive and opinionated. Charlie is the only one who can give her as good as he gets. They were talking about something a few weeks ago and Charlie gave his take on it. Even before he had finished Naga had started to challenge him but Charlie shut her down by saying , ‘Well that’s just my opinion’ and for once she was lost for words. Yesterday morning they were talking about the Christmas number one by LadBaby and she said the song was originally by Joan Jett and The Blackheads. Charlie said it isn’t The Blackheads, they pondered for a while and he said he thought it’s The Blackhearts and she said, ‘No, no it’s not that’ and when it was later pointed out it is The Blackhearts she just ignored it. It’s not what she says it’s the way she says it.

SirChenjin Fri 20-Dec-19 13:04:32

As did Charlie when he opened his - and then refused to wear them and put them down the back of the sofa.

Of course, neither really sneered - they were simply having a laugh with work colleagues as we all do when we give each other rubbish presents.

Winniewit Fri 20-Dec-19 12:17:37

This morning she and Charlie were give Christmas gifts by one of the other presenters. Despite being asked not to, she strill opened it and then sneered at the contents.

Yorksherlass Fri 20-Dec-19 10:51:06

I thought it was just me who couldn’t stand the woman , she gets off on winding her fellow presenters up ,she can dish it but can’t take it she gets defensive and nasty .

SirChenjin Fri 20-Dec-19 10:03:50

How can we decide for ourselves if their mistakes, unfounded claims, lies and half truths are not corrected by the interviewer?

Lizbethann55 Thu 19-Dec-19 23:09:53

I agree completely about Naga. I don't always watch morning tele but whenever I do I dread her interviews. I don't know what charm school she went to, but she obviously failed. Having said that, I find so many interviews with politicians by virtually all the TV presenters acutely embarrassing as most of them are rude and aggressive. I couldn't stand to watch the Andrew Neil (?) ones at all. If I was a politician I would find it so difficult to keep my temper. Why ask a question if you don't want to know the answer. I get the impression that interviewers really do not want to hear what is said. The interviews are a total waste of everyone's time whereas they should be a time for us to listen and decide for ourselves if we believe them or not.

Oldbst1
She might have done but did you not hear the very noticeable huff and sigh of irritation.
I remember once when the camera cut back onto her while she was sitting with the guys and very clearly she was heard calling a colleague useless. It's on YouTube I think

Oldbat1 Thu 19-Dec-19 19:32:51

Naga quite rightly pointed out politely but firmly that the “new” nursing figures are not true.

HurdyGurdy Thu 19-Dec-19 18:57:01

Cannot stand her. She can challenge the politicians to her heart's content. They ought to be challenged.

But towards the "ordinary" guests, there is just no need for her attitude.

I saw her interviewing a country and western band some time ago, and one of the males was using the term "ma'am" (like they do in his part of the world) when answering her questions.

TWICE she very snottily told him not to address her as ma'am. She was INCREDIBLY rude, I thought.

If I ever had the misfortune to meet her, I'd shoehorn ma'am into every sentence, just to annoy her.

timetogo2016 Thu 19-Dec-19 18:41:09

I can`t stand her.
Me myself I springs to mind with her.

SirChenjin Thu 19-Dec-19 18:37:38

Yes, the nice young girls on Sky always lean in towards their male colleagues, don’t they?

The only ones who can’t grasp the numbers it seems are the Tory politicians who believe the viewers are stupid enough to fall for their nonsense.

lemongrove Thu 19-Dec-19 18:19:14

Davidhs yes, I have noticed that, she leans away from him with a ‘you have to be joking right?’ Kind of expression.
She has already had flak for comments on the show, and I think the expression ‘too big for her boots’ is an apt expression for her.

lemongrove Thu 19-Dec-19 18:16:40

What lies?!
The Breakfast presenters, including Munchetty and the nice but dim young chap on there, cannot grasp numbers.
It doesn’t matter that so many of the figures ( for nurses) are not new and counting retained nurses is perfectly ok, they know how many leave the profession in any given year so are able to work out the figures for that.
Munchetty and Co are not up to interviewing politicians, they should stick to lighter matters, which is what Breakfast tv is meant to be.
Leave it to Kuennesberg or Marr or Neil!

Moocow Thu 19-Dec-19 18:12:16

doodledog I was tempted to list a few others too but then saw your post. You've said it.

SirChenjin Thu 19-Dec-19 18:09:20

Exactly jura It a shame she’s not more like the lovely girls on Sky or ITV - how dare she not take well to being lied to by our nice politicians.

tessagee Thu 19-Dec-19 18:02:46

I used to very much enjoy her but nowadays I think she is a bit self important.

Jump88 Thu 19-Dec-19 17:57:37

Naga challenges lying politicians. She doesn't give them an inch. We need more like her, and fewer creepers like Laura K.

whywhywhy Thu 19-Dec-19 17:50:13

She's just plain Rude.

Davidhs Thu 19-Dec-19 17:37:57

Had anyone else noticed that she always leans away from her co presenter, very off hand or has he got terrible BO.
My least favorites presenter.

jura2 Thu 19-Dec-19 17:32:52

Should keep to fluffy kittens Sir C...

BlueBelle Thu 19-Dec-19 17:29:25

I think she’s great like Naga a lot I don’t think she’s rude she just ain’t having someone lying to her face and good on her
