I watched her interviewing a politian this morning. From the start she was rude and abrupt. Then she gave very audible huff and sigh. Is she not supposed to interview with impartiality? She is just so rude and opinionated.

lavenderzen Thu 19-Dec-19 10:39:21

Yes, I saw that. She is rude and I have never liked her.

dragonfly46 Thu 19-Dec-19 10:42:03

I find her very opinionated and often the interview ends up being all about her.

Smileless2012 Thu 19-Dec-19 10:43:00

I agree. I remember one of her interviews when she said 'I don't want to interrupt' so the man she was interviewing said 'then don't'.

One of the rare occasions she seemed lost for words and looked embarrassed.

She is not the only one - I think many of the interviewers forget who they are talking to!
Laura Kuensberg annoys me - barely allows the person that she is interviewing to draw breath or to get their thoughts in order before barking out her next question!
What is worrying is that they all have an agenda and eager for the general public to see things only through their eyes!

I saw the interview this morning and thought she was rude. Politicians deserve a grilling but she was downright rude.

Millie22 Thu 19-Dec-19 11:33:44

Awful woman and she can't dance either.

Pudding123 Thu 19-Dec-19 11:48:31

I have always thought she was downright rude to her fellow presenters as well, imo very rude and fulll of herself.

cangran Thu 19-Dec-19 12:20:51

The conservative mp dodged her questions and made up figures on NHS staffing. 19k in post staff + 21k new nurses does not = 50k new jobs. I don't like interviewers interrupting politicians constantly but, when they lie, why should they not be challenged?

Jump88 Thu 19-Dec-19 12:43:30

I love Naga! Didn't see this interview but I think she's great.

merlotgran Thu 19-Dec-19 12:47:59

One word sums up Naga Munchetty. Sneery!

I like Laura Kuenssberg though. Professional, confident and sticks to the point.

SirChenjin Thu 19-Dec-19 12:59:24

She challenged a lying politician - good for her, we need more like her. If they don’t want to be challenged then they know what to do.

Oldandverygrey Thu 19-Dec-19 13:02:24

I cant stand the woman.

MerylStreep Thu 19-Dec-19 13:14:31

Can't stand the woman. Every time she does the false laugh I feel a bitch slap coming on.
Charley must be saint to work with her.

SirChenjin Thu 19-Dec-19 13:18:33

A what coming on???

What a revolting expression.

love0c Thu 19-Dec-19 14:06:37

She was downright rude. She should not be giving her opinion. She will be allowed to continue by the BBC. In my opinion her contract should be ended. Terrible personality and terrible interviewer, in my opinion.

SirChenjin Thu 19-Dec-19 14:16:06

She wasn’t giving her opinion, she was challenging the lies being spouted by a politician. Think of it as fact checking - expect to see a lot more of it and rightly so.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 19-Dec-19 14:48:40

I have no problem with politicians being “grilled” by presenters, as long as all political parties are subjected to an equal “grilling”

jura2 Thu 19-Dec-19 14:52:09

oh yea, jaylucy, give me Nagga 1000s times over the awful Laura.

jura2 Thu 19-Dec-19 14:53:17

''I feel a bitch slap coming on.'' - honestly meryl, wow, how lovely, woman to woman sad

SirChenjin Thu 19-Dec-19 14:56:29

I agree Granny - that’s as it should be. Far too many lies being told at the moment and too many excuses made - none of us would tolerate that level of half truths or downright lies from our bank or our car dealer or our doctor or our accountant.

GrandmaJan Thu 19-Dec-19 15:02:23

I agree with the majority of you all, she is rude and aggressive. I have also seen her disrespectful to her co presenters as well. Sh has rolled her eyes at Charlie on a few I occasions when she obviously didn’t agree with something he said. I’ve started not watching BBC Breakfast when she’s presenting now.

Grandma70s Thu 19-Dec-19 15:12:47

I admire both Naga (one G) and Laura Kuenssberg. They both strike me as having really sharp brains and being extremely articulate, which are desirable qualities as far as I’m concerned. I agree that Naga can be a bit sharp at times - I don’t think she suffers fools gladly! - but she’s only doing what I’d like to do. I also think she’s very beautiful, though I suppose that’s not relevant.

Chestnut Thu 19-Dec-19 15:22:38

I always see what Laura Kuenssberg has to say on the news because she summarises the current situation very neatly and then suggests what might happen next. And it's all done so clearly and with no waffle.

Winniewit Thu 19-Dec-19 15:39:55

Sometimes when Charles is talking to her she draws her head back. It's like she can't stand the smell
I agree she should question politian but she is too rude.
