I have to agree, Billy Connolly is very funny despite the constant swearing, his joke about he man who confessed to murdering his wife is one of the few jokes I can remember and always makes me smile. Dave Allen was also a very funny man and attractive too. Victoria Wood’s sketches and songs were very clever, such as Let’s Do It (not sure if that is the correct title). The Two Ronnies as well, we used to look forward to their shows. Yes The Goons were very funny, also early radio shows such as Round The Horn and Ray’s A Laugh. We used to enjoy watching The Young Ones when our boys were still at home and also Monty Python and Fawlty Towers. Peter Cook and Dudley Moore were also very funny, Dudley had trouble keeping from laughing a lot of the time. Modern comedians leave me cold except for Lenny Henry and Peter Kay. I recently watched After Life with Ricky Gervais and it was a mix of sad and funny but I do like black humour.
