What are you watching tonight?

I watched a very peculiar production of Midsummer Night's Dream on BBC 4 last night, but messing about with the text and introducing a little bit of cross-gendering, (as though Shakespeare hadn't been there first) couldn't destroy the magic of the play.
Have Belgravia saved for tonight; daft but well done.

Today it’ll be Corrie (which I’m enjoying more now that it’s just 3 episodes a week), University Challenge, and A Mother’s Son, which I didn’t see (don’t even remember, in fact) the first time round, but it looks promising.

Last night, Simon Reeve travelling through central America, followed by "Race Across the World" now on the penultimate leg through Brazil and Argentina. Love those parts of the world, so a must for me. Finally "Belgravia" fairly enjoyable tosh for a Sunday evening.

I told a lie, merlotgran, I watched as far as that girl group Little Mix and said 'oh, they can't sing that well, can they'!

DH said, 'Perhaps not, but they're better than you'.

I'll ignore DH and watch Simon Reeve on a loop instead, think.

I'm looking forward to watching the last Good Karma Hospital on catch up.

Really windy out there today with a Fen Blow putting paid to any veg growing until it all settles down so I'll put my feet up and have a lazy day.

I see that there's a new version of Van Der Valk starting on Sunday. Hope they haven't messed with the theme tune.

I am looking forward to University Challenge tonight, when Ian Wang and Brendan Blackwell will go head to head with their respective colleges. They have such a wonderful wide general knowledge.

I'm watching Making a Murderer on Netflix.

I think it's 24 hours long, and there's another series in the offing.

I'm on episode 8 of 10 (S2, so almost finished...).

joannapiano; I think getting that early starter question wrong did it for Corpus Christy; after that they hesitated. I've really enjoyed this series of University Challenge, though; in fact it's been the highlight of my week. Don't know what I'll do on Monday nights now.

Wire In The Blood

I thought that A Mother's Son was well worth watching and I am looking forward to tomorrow evening's second and last episode. I am so glad it was not stretched out over 6 episodes which would have ruined it.

I do not remember hearing or seeing it 8 years ago but I do like Hermione Norris.

Pantglas2 I watched that too. Right up my street as i love maps and atlases. Have a large Atlas pinned on my bedroom wall and i love looking at it. Weird what takes your fancy sometimes.

I’ve always been fascinated by them and have loved travelling over the years and seeing places I’d read about as a child! Still planning even though we can’t go anywhere at the moment.....

I see that Manifest Season 2 is available now on Sky.

Just finished watching the film "Sense Of An Ending" on BBCIplayer, enjoyed it very much.

@Grannmarie I love Manifest and am partway through the second series & loving it!
I'm really enjoying 'Offspring' in Netflix. A contemporary Australian drama/comedy series about family life (although I am finding one sister and the younger brother very irritating!). Loving the theme music too.

I'm half-way through the series 'Devs' which is weird but coming strangely compelling.

I am watching 'The A Word' from the beginning again in preparation for the new series
