Seeing as we're all staying in a little lot more, we'd imagine the telly is getting a fair amount of attention. If you want to chat about whatever you're watching while it's on (or the next day) please do check our Telly forum topic and join in if there's already a conversation running. If not, why not start one? There's almost certainly someone else on here who's watching alongside you and would love the opportunity to dissect the plot/suggest whodunnit/debate actor's suitability to role/just want to say they love or hate it. grin

Line of Duty is brilliant - I think the first three series are the best.

Tonight I'm going to watch - or record - Have I got News for you, Who wants to be a millionaire and Later with Jools Holland.

I have Grand Designs on.
I love it. smile
This episode looks interesting.

Just watched a wonderful programme on BBC4, Special Soloists. Dudley More, James Galway, Ravi Shankar, and many others,. Just wonderful

clementine Fri 15-May-20 20:27:03

For those that like Unorthodox there is a similar series on Netflix called Schitzel, the girl who played the lead in Unorthodox is also in this , only as a much younger child .

Thanks Clementine for the recommend

Eloethan, we watched three episodes of LoD and I’m hooked, again.

I too love Grand Designs MissAdventure

Property generally interests me and that programme is so relaxing to watch. Even if I don’t particularly like the finished building it doesn’t detract from my enjoyment of the programme.

I have always got at least a dozen of the shows recorded ready to watch when there is nothing else on to interest me.

It must be the ultimate dream of most of us to have a house built on a wonderful plot of land to our own specification,

Maybe I will win the big prize with my Premium Bonds next month!

Me too, jenniferEccles.
I love property shows, with Grand Designs being one of the best.

I spent all of Christmas day watching back to back episodes of 'Escape to the country' a couple of years ago. smile

I don't know if anyone watched McDonald and Dodds, a detective 'series' set in Bath. There were only two episodes but both enjoyable escapism.
Some of the views of Bath were lovely.

Kevin McLeod was in a pub near us when they were filming an episode of Grand Designs; my friend happened to be there for lunch with her very elderly mother and they said he was absolutely charming, had his photo taken with her mum and chatted with them too.

Unlike some TV personalities who seem lovely onscreen but are very uppity if you see them in RL.

I have been watching Great Asian Railway Journeys with Michael Portillo. Tonight he was in Java. It really transported me, a fascinating country.

I am enjoying Marigold Hotel too, as I love seeing other countries. Armchair travel is our lot at the moment.

Jane43 Sun 17-May-20 20:16:37

MayBee ‘For Sama’ is wonderful, I so wanted it to win an Oscar but it did win a BAFTA.

I’m watching Mediterranean with Simon Reeve and Primates. I will look for Shitzel on Netflix, thank you Clementine.

Marmight Sun 17-May-20 20:35:04

Simon Reeve’s Mediterranean. Very thought provoking. Shocking even. Now watching A Year in the Life of The New Forest. Beautiful.

BlueBelle Sun 17-May-20 20:56:49

Oops thanks pittcity I know everyday seems like Sunday since lockdown

Kalu Sun 17-May-20 21:00:48

Watched Simon Reeve’s Mediterranean journey reaching Spain, France and Monaco. Such beautiful scenery but a bit spoiled by tourism, plastic and laterally, a sunny place for shady people!

Just about to watch HIGNFY.

MissAdventure Sun 17-May-20 23:22:19

We just accidentally came across Stavros Flatley on YouTube. DH laughed so much he nearly fell off the sofa.

Daddima Mon 18-May-20 11:34:25

Edward and Mrs Simpson on YouTube for me. I was disappointed that there are only 3 episodes. I had forgotten how good Edward Fox was.

WOODMOUSE49 Mon 18-May-20 15:07:08

MissAdventure

We watched Educating Rita too. Lost count the amount of times I've seen it. Still cried at the end. Love the film,

We are sat watching the worst film ever “Suddenly” with Frank Sinatra. The dialogue is so dire, but we have to see how it ends??
