Seeing as we're all staying in a little lot more, we'd imagine the telly is getting a fair amount of attention. If you want to chat about whatever you're watching while it's on (or the next day) please do check our Telly forum topic and join in if there's already a conversation running. If not, why not start one? There's almost certainly someone else on here who's watching alongside you and would love the opportunity to dissect the plot/suggest whodunnit/debate actor's suitability to role/just want to say they love or hate it. grin

I think we're on yet another train journey at the moment, travelling through South Africa.

Marmight! Lovely to see you smile
I must wake up properly, the scenery looks wonderful

Just watched Best of the Chelsea Flower Show. Helps make up for the real thing being cancelled.

EllanVannin Mon 18-May-20 21:46:50

I watched the Best of Chelsea Flower Show too, what a lovely change. Now I've been following the opal mining in the outback. Crystal opals---gee, what a price but dangerous work to get them.

Then the " Go Between " is on at 10pm.

Tonight is Marigold Hotel and I’ll settle in my chair for an hour of being a fly on the wall with the eclectic group who are doing this current series.

Will Duncan’s hair still be jet black? (Did he take a touch-up spray with him?)

Will Britt eat herself? (she thinks she’s so lovely)

Will Paul’s stomach get used to Indian cuisine? (Poor man has spent a lot of time on the loo)

Will Blowers show a mean side? (he’s been delightful up till now)

Will Barbara sing more songs (she has a lovely voice).

Will the show arrange for Susie to go on a date with a handsome Indian gentleman? ( she has lived alone for many years).

Will Zandra join the group for a day out in denim jeans and a plain tee shirt. They’d be very surprised. (Her wardrobe is a riot of colour).

And all of this to the backdrop of vibrant Indian’s streets, river life, festivals and retreats.

Can’t wait to see.

Urmstongran Thu 21-May-20 08:40:01

I’m with you Puzzler61 you’ve expressed it all so well.
?
Shall we dig out the thread on the programme again tomorrow and chat about it? I love it.

Puzzler61 Thu 21-May-20 08:48:07

Yes Urmstongran definitely. ?

travelsafar Thu 21-May-20 09:23:32

I too will be hooked to BBC1 at 9PM this evening. I just love this program.
Brings back memories of my trip to India and makes me long to be there again.
Sadly the trip planned for later this year cancelled due to Covid.

Sparklefizz Sat 23-May-20 16:45:16

I will be watching Harry & Meghan: 2 Troubled Years on Channel 5 at 9.20pm just to see what it's all about.

Eloethan Sat 23-May-20 23:59:26

Pittcity Sun 24-May-20 09:11:56

I am enjoying the free YouTube plays. A Streetcar named Desire yesterday. Not a patch on Marlon Brando imho.

The short lockdown sketch from W1a is hilarious.

I may watch A Winter's Tale this afternoon.

seacliff Sun 24-May-20 21:32:46

I am watching Little Boy Blue on ITV, a new crime drama, based on a true story. Looking good (but very sad) so far.

May7 Sun 24-May-20 21:51:26

It's a repeat I'm afraid. That's all there seems to be on TV at the moment.

Marmight Sun 24-May-20 21:56:14

Not watching anything. Power cut all evening! Grhhh

seacliff Sun 24-May-20 22:25:10

Oh no, thought it was too good to be true. sad

Charleygirl5 Mon 25-May-20 10:26:49

I agree seacliff but I have had to switch on subtitles because I could not understand a word most of the adults were saying. It is one for 4 consecutive night- I missed it last time it was on.

Brunette10 Mon 25-May-20 14:31:40

Anyone been watching State of Happiness BBC4 Norwegian drama? Have watched a lot of these dramas and I have to say they are in the main very good. I know a lot don't like sub-titles but you get used to it. Worth watching for sure.

MayBee70 Mon 25-May-20 19:29:36

Not yet but a friend told me yesterday that it’s excellent and I must watch it.

newnanny Tue 26-May-20 02:41:56
