Seeing as we're all staying in a little lot more, we'd imagine the telly is getting a fair amount of attention. If you want to chat about whatever you're watching while it's on (or the next day) please do check our Telly forum topic and join in if there's already a conversation running. If not, why not start one? There's almost certainly someone else on here who's watching alongside you and would love the opportunity to dissect the plot/suggest whodunnit/debate actor's suitability to role/just want to say they love or hate it. grin

There are going to be Lloyd Webber musicals online as well as NT.

Have I Got News For You is back tonight....I wonder what they will joke about?

merlotgran Fri 03-Apr-20 19:02:44

So glad HIGNIFY is back.

I'll also watch Gardeners' World and Gogglebox on +1

Callistemon Fri 03-Apr-20 19:49:20

merlotgran Him indoors is watching Rick Stein shock

He chose the programme!

TerriBull Fri 03-Apr-20 20:02:47

For some reason, known only to himself my husband likes Vera, maybe's it the raincoat, or the hat I wouldn't like to say, but anyway that's what we're watching, recording HIGNFY for tomorrow.

I think we're all getting a bit misandriatic (not sure that's even a word) I put it down to being locked up sad

Callistemon Fri 03-Apr-20 20:05:19

I think that's only in the Terribull Dictionary!

Watching Miranda

TerriBull Fri 03-Apr-20 20:12:40

I believe in bending words about to fit in with what I want to say, so yes you could say that Callistemon

Callistemon Fri 03-Apr-20 20:22:17

grin

merlotgran Fri 03-Apr-20 20:25:25

Oh Yes. We've had Rick Stein as well, then it will be Great British Menu and MasterChef. hmm

I just wish he'd absorb some of that culinary information and actually cook something. hmm

seacliff Fri 03-Apr-20 20:36:09

Doc Martin very first episode on ITV3. Still makes me laugh.

Pittcity Fri 03-Apr-20 21:32:23

They tried hard with HIGNFY but it didn't really work.

paddyanne Fri 03-Apr-20 21:35:20

The Nest ,with Martin Compson ,its very good

Eloethan Fri 03-Apr-20 23:52:02

I think HIGNFY might be OK once they get used to the new format. They all seemed a bit tense, which meant their laughter sounded a rather forced. Steph McGovern was excellent, I thought because she chaired it in such a natural and relaxed way.

It wasn't terrible but hopefully it will improve.

Smileless2012 Sat 04-Apr-20 17:39:36

'Independence Day' againblushjust love it!

Eloethan Sat 04-Apr-20 22:47:00

I've watched bits of the news but the only other thing was the first episode of Twin. I didn't enjoy it much, didn't warm to the characters and thought the storyline was unconvincing so didn't bother to watch the second episode.

We will be watching Belgravia tonight and Joseph etc. on YouTube.

Littleannie Sun 05-Apr-20 11:10:44

I have Joseph Technicolour etc on DVD. It is the one they are showing on YouTube. It is excellent, I watch it when I want cheering up. I think it's only on YouTube for 48 hours, so catch it soon.

Littleannie Sun 05-Apr-20 11:16:33

Can I recommend 'Marvellous' on YouTube. Search for 'Marvellous film Toby Jones.' It is one of those rare gems you come across occasionally. It was originally on TV.

Last night I saw Girl with Green Eyes on Talking Pictures, with Peter Finch and Rita Tushingham. Managed to stay awake to the end. Seen it before but so good to watch. I really like Peter Finch!

I read all about his father a few years ago. He was involved in the Everest expeditions.

Nannylovesshopping Sun 05-Apr-20 22:36:45

I didn’t like the twin either, boring.......

Baloothefitz Sun 05-Apr-20 23:35:47

Bluebell the series about the boy in 'love' with his girlfriends mother is Penance.

Eloethan Mon 06-Apr-20 00:31:27

Littleannie Thanks for telling us about "Marvellous". I missed it when it was on before, and remember several people saying how brilliant it was.
