Adrian Dunbar Blood Series 2

I just watched series 1 so will be watching this tonight.

I am going to watch it, Adrian Dunbar always seems to play parts so you don't know whether to believe him or not, very gripping. I watched the first series and thought he was guilty ?

The Adrian Dunbar character reminds me very much of someone in our family (controlling self-styled head of the family), so I watch it out of a strange fascination. Looking forward to series 2 tonight and through the rest of the week.

Can't wait. I have just rewatched series 1 to remind myself. I agree Katie, about him being suspicious. Also love him in Line of Duty.

Watched it last night. Thought Adrian Dunbar’s character should have kept out of the adopted son’s drug use, not up to him what was going on, especially after the dad had more or less told him to mind his own business.

Yes watched and enjoyed it last night. I hadn’t realised there had been a series 1. I thought the flashbacks would gradually reveal what had happened . Can anyone give me a quick update please?

Dunbar’s younger daughter Cat was suspicious about her mother’s death, she had Motor Neurone disease I think. He was a GP, she thought he had killed her. Turned out he had, sort of, but was what she wanted, he lost his licence. Other daughter also now has MD, the son Michael? is gay. Disfunctional family with various issues.

Thanks fir the back story calendar girl. I struggled last night as I couldn't remember who was who, even though I am sure I watched it.
Who are the couple with the teenage son putting up Dunbar in their house? For free! And I don’t recall a brick and a patio?

It was an ornamental frog beside a garden pond, rather than a brick and a patio!

I don’t remember a frog either...I fear I am a lost cause.

I thought it was a promising first episode. I had only just watched Series 1 so I did know who the characters were.

I had forgotten about the frog!
I was trying to think what I had seen Gillian in. She was Martin Compston’s sister, the nurse, in The Nest.

Perhaps I need to rewatch series 1 if I am ever to understand this new one. It’s not as if I don’t have the time.....

Me too Silverlining. I’m glad I’m not the only one losing it. Until CALENDARGIRL reminded me of the plot , it had completely gone from my memory. I’ll stick with it and hopefully it will gradually come back to my befuddled mind. Was there another daughter who had been estranged .?

The estranged daughter is Cat, don’t know if she’ll be in this series.
I don’t recall the parents of the teenage boy putting Dunbar up being in series 1, might be wrong on that.

No calendergirl it’s the new series 2 when Dunbar has returned to the area and the couple with the son put him up in their mansion type house for free, and he found son and friends with drugs
Still can’t remember the story line in series 1.

And I meant that the other couple hadn’t featured in first series as far as I can remember.
