The West Wing is now free on Channel 4 catchup, so I am already up to episode six.

Just watched a film on Prime called About Time. It was enchanting, different and very enjoyable. If you want something to take your mind of the troubles in the world today this should do the tricksmile

Episode 1 of The West Wing
It’s still brilliant

I’m watching the Maggie Hambling programme too, because I love her sculpture Scallop on Aldeburgh beach. I can’t say I take to her as a person, though.

Finishing the series on Netflix called Ozarks, then revisiting The Kominsky Method. I'm addicted to it!

We watched DNA but it didn't cheer us up at all!

I quite liked DNA, not too violent and no swearing and a bit intriguing.

suziewoozie Sat 24-Oct-20 23:16:03

Loved DNA and caught up on the Same Sky - also very promising

BlueBelle Sat 24-Oct-20 23:20:16

I enjoyed DNA looking Forward to next week

Callistemon Sat 24-Oct-20 23:26:37

It was very good but rather anxiety-inducing.

Portrait Artist of the Year. Enjoy most of it, but having had a classical art training, I fail to understand why some artists use a photograph. The model is there for goodness sake !!

Recorded DNA, will watch Top Gear and Roadkill after dinner, then zzzzzzz

Jane43 Sun 25-Oct-20 22:30:58

I’m watching The Last Tycoon on Amazon Prime. Based on F Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, it is set in Hollywood, then called Hollywoodland, during The Depression. The cast is very strong with Kelsey Grammer and Lily Collins in two of the lead roles. There are 9 episodes.

Apostasy, a film about Jehovah's Witnesses, on BBC2. Very interesting.

Started watching Greenleaf on Netflix a couple of nights ago and we are completely hooked.
We have practically given up on regular TV only dipping in for the odd programme here and there.

Ashcombe Mon 26-Oct-20 07:15:51

I'm watching the second series of “Liar” on ITV Hub which I’m enjoying. It was first aired more than two years ago, I think, so won’t be available for much longer.

A fascinating documentary by John Pilger called The coming war on China.
Then for some light relief ( which you need after watching that) the programme on ABBA.

Jane10 Mon 26-Oct-20 08:18:57

I'm glued to 'Riviera' on Sky Atlantic which I can access via NOW TV. Beautiful settings, houses, art and clothes-awful people doing dreadful things!

suziewoozie Mon 26-Oct-20 08:22:45

I watched two further episodes of The Same Sky which sadly descended into farce. I maintain hopes of DNA. Has anyone watched any of Safe on C5? Just wondering whether to bother.
