Is Netflix worth paying for?

Covid means I'm not going out much and I'm wondering if I should get Netflix?
Advice very welcome.

I also have Netflix free courtesy of my son. I haven't found that much on there so far, so not sure I'd pay for it. I'm possibly not good at finding things for me. I'm not mad on too many US programmes, although I liked the one about Hasidic Jews.

I really liked an old fashioned feel good film set in a Sydney department store, Ladies in Black, and I liked the Crown.

This thread has given me a lot more to investigate.
