I’m also enjoying the series but have to agree about the poor sound and diction.
The usual problem is background music but that’s not the case with this programme.
I do wish they had just stuck to the story which is interesting enough without the daft addition of the fictitious monster.
I almost gave up watching when that appeared but we decided to stick with it.
