I usually enjoy Bake Off but this week I was bored- is it just me. A review at the weekend said it needed a revamp. I cant think what it needs but it is getting 'stale' in my view. I think I will record it and whizz through. Mary Berry used to give lots of tips which I enjoyed but not so from Prue but I suppose she is more of a gourmet Chef than a cook ?????

I think Paul Hollywood’s effusive handshakes last week, for all but Juergen was downright unpleasant.
It was so obvious that he didn’t like throughout the programme, Juergen was upset but covered it up well.
I really don’t like Paul Hollywood, his arrogance is sickening and Matt and Noel completely ruin it for me. Like Strictly I think it’s outdone it’s appeal for me now.

The comedy element was a bit of light relief when Mel and Sue and Sandy and Noel were presenters but since Matt Lucas replaced Sandy it is too much and sometimes not remotely amusing. I said to my daughter-in-law recently that it’s become a comedy show now, and not a very good one. I won’t be watching next year either.

Like others here, I have found the sameness has become boring, and made even worse by the false 'comedy' of Matt etc. I have found this year, that I just watch the Friday night show each week, and even that on recor, so I can fast forward parts of it. Similar with Strictly - it is now boring - I just watch part of the Sunday?? night show. Such a pity when these sort of shows outlast their entertainment value. We need some new ideas now.
