Early days but not too sure about this new programme. What do others think? Bradley Walsh sounds the same in every programme he is in. Is he acting or being himself? Still, it’s early days.

First series was in Pluckley. I know the area and lived quite close at o e time.

I enjoyed the original but hated this woke version. It just wouldn't have been that way in the 50's. It has totally lost the spirit of the original but Ma Larkin actor was the best bit about it. Its characters are not quirky enough like the original.

Watched a couple of the new series, like Bradley Walsh, but not right for this. Have given up on it, really not a patch on the old series which I’ve been watching on itv3.

We’ve just started seeing this in NZ. Remind me, was there a Vicar in the original, I don’t remember him? I miss the old Edith and the General mightily. The new Charlie just doesn’t cut it for us.
Joanna Scanlon is obviously not Pam Ferris but is believable and enjoyable. But like others say this series is pleasant Sunday evening watching, but it’s wanting. Perhaps we shouldn’t compare…..but the original was just soooo good.
