I see it's started already the relentless covering of this programme. Why do news programmes feel they have to tell us about this ad nauseum. Second rate so called celebrities exposing their frailties to the world.
OK rant over what do other people think.

MAFSA - I did!! ?

Anniebach Mon 22-Nov-21 18:05:25

Do not all who take part in tv shows do so for money .

I watch it every year, so hope Richard Madeley is out early, did he have to ask ‘where do we piss’ on tv.

David Ginola ? yes please

Kate1949 Mon 22-Nov-21 18:18:00

We got into this a couple of years ago after insisting we would never watch such drivel. Now we love it. We haven't watched this one yet. Richard Madeley will deliberately try to be controversial I bet.

Anniebach Mon 22-Nov-21 18:23:09

Katie Price has criticised this years contestants , they are not
celebrities!

Two are Olympic Gold Medalists, one of these was a para Olympian she has M.S. what is this compared to flashing your
boobs

nanaK54 Mon 22-Nov-21 18:23:36

I enjoy it!

BlueBelle Mon 22-Nov-21 18:38:50

When it first started all those years ago I watched it and to a degree enjoyed it I think it’s as tired as a yawning insomniac
I haven’t watched for years and have no intention to do so now
I did see a clip of Ant and Dec and see Dec has dyed his hair black ???

merlotgran Mon 22-Nov-21 18:48:09

Ant and Dec look like they wish they were in Australia ?

DanniRae Mon 22-Nov-21 19:10:18

I like watching it but I was disgusted by Richard Madeley's term for finding the whereabouts of the toilet! If he carries on like that I will be turning it off.

Sunnysideup

Love it! I record it and then watch it while I’m having my breakfast and David Ginola could share my breakfast with me any time. Bet none of you lot watched MAFSA (or would own up to it)!

I watch all the so-called rubbish programmes like this plus Married at First Sight (my favourite), The Bachelor and Big Brother in its day.
I cannot be alone or they wouldn't show them! I guessed there would be plenty of snotty comments on here! Each to his own! It is nice to swap comments with the GCs

sodapop Mon 22-Nov-21 21:44:36

It's the constant rehashing of it all on talk shows and news programmes which really drives me mad.
I didn't realise it was on for three weeks. Beam me up Scottie.

Forsythia Mon 22-Nov-21 21:49:24

It’s tedious drivel and I can’t stand it. ITV2 for us for a few weeks.

LadyGracie Mon 22-Nov-21 21:59:43

I watch every year and love it.

BlueBelle Mon 22-Nov-21 22:00:05

It’s so false and repetitive I just find it ultra boring and that’s not a snotty comment I think they are tired and so predictable that they need a big shake up

Lincslass Tue 23-Nov-21 07:47:26

Never watched this, never wanted too, can’t understand why people do watch it. same as for other reality shows. Still, each to their own.

GrannyGravy13 Tue 23-Nov-21 08:02:38

Another vote for David Ginola ❤️

With so much doom and gloom on the majority of channels, murder box sets or Christmas Films I have got into the habit of watching this each year…

Grannynannywanny Tue 23-Nov-21 08:24:33

I watch it every year and enjoy it. It’s light entertainment and and a distraction from the doom and gloom that’s never far away.

It’s interesting that some folk who swear they would never watch such a programme know so much about it. How does that work? ?

silverlining48 Tue 23-Nov-21 08:33:46

Never watched this, big brother, or other similar programmes so can’t comment. A friend likes it but she recognises more of the ‘famous’ than I do.
I watch strictly sometimes but never know who any of the ‘slebs‘ are other than those who have been on east Enders in the past. I stopped watching that about 5 years ago, All the shouting and the annual Christmas disaster got me down.
Must be stressing for the Cast worrying if it might be them coming to a nasty end ... merry Christmas. you’re sacked!
Must stop this rambling and get out of bed. Things to do, physio to see.
Habe a good day all,

dolphindaisy Tue 23-Nov-21 09:03:18

I don't watch it because I find the "trials" revolting, if it's eating grubs or being in a cage with rats it makes me feel sick (maybe I'm too sensitive) . I do like Ant and Dec and I don't think it would be so popular with any other hosts.

Mrst1405 Tue 23-Nov-21 10:51:02

Love it. One of my favourite shows. Good thing we don't all like the same stuff.

Brewteaful Tue 23-Nov-21 12:16:00

I booked months ago to visit the castle for my partners birthday in December. Sorted accommodation and then got a message from castle saying they have to cancel my booking because they are holding I’m a celeb there again this year ?. Has anyone got any recommendations of what to do in/near Abergele please?!

grannymags Tue 23-Nov-21 12:17:05

Im with you grannyrebel7 look forward to it every year hubby and i sit down with a drink at nine and enjoy it p.s.Richard to win

Oldwoman70 Tue 23-Nov-21 12:18:05

I'm another who would never watch it - why do people enjoy watching others being humiliated and made to eat disgusting things?

The reason those of us who don't watch know so much about it is because it is constantly being talked about on radio and in newspapers (my local newspaper has 8 articles about it today!)

GreenGran78 Tue 23-Nov-21 12:18:21

I have watched bits of it in the past, and couldn't see the fun in people doing unpleasant things while bickering among themselves. I don't recognise most of these so-called celebrities, either. I do like Ant and Dec, but not enough to tempt me to watch this programme.
If you enjoy it, then, good luck to you. We all have different tastes. Television schedules would be very boring if we didn't.

Meta Tue 23-Nov-21 12:19:16

True it’s lighthearted drivel, some of the contestants are poor choices and can’t stand Richard Madley but totally agree David Ginola is definitely worth watching for - I could listen to that voice all day!

Granny1810 Tue 23-Nov-21 12:21:32

My friend went off on one about this. As it happens at the same time every year, I suggested that she downloads other things to watch.
I enjoy it. How sweet is Naughty Boy also watch Danny and Simon Gregson when he gets in. Those two will be hilarious and can bang out a cracking tune as well.
