The first two episodes of a new series have just aired on BBC1 - I thought it was exceptionally good, did you enjoy it? (I may be biased as I loved the book as a child).

We couldn't get into it either. Might be because we liked the David Niven version so much.

Had to turn it off as my husband was very put out that it was not true to the story and the wokeness. But he did like Passepartout despite the fact that the story was changed.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Looking forward to the remaining episodes. 8 episodes so it should be 4 hours long. I'm pleased to see time devoted to it, rather than events skated over.
