That would be toooooo cruel Grannynannywanny. Surely she'd be allowed to adopt Elsie? Will Abi get to keep Alfie?
I really hope the adoption goes ahead Aveline. I suppose whether Abbie is given custody of Alfie will depend on how much incriminating evidence is found. Starting with the car and did they tamper with it enough to cause the accident. She has the fake passports in her possession and could destroy that evidence as only Imran has seen them.
I was thinking maybe did Imran spill the beans and confess to everything while Toyah was driving and she deliberately drove into the building. That would explain no evidence of braking.
I’m off to wash the floors while I mull this over ?
But!
Spider is coming back in (Toyah's first love). Maybe they will finally live happily ever after?
Blimey. Spider! Did he not go to Peru and Emily followed him out there?
Imran is much nicer looking, poor man.
Just thought, how will Adam cope with the huge number (!) of clients at their law firm? Todd was a paralegal at one point...
I think Abbie will get Alfie Toys will get Elsie and Kevin after a long drawn out storyline will be found to have had no involvement with the car problem and it was just one of those accidents where she took her eyes of the road
Abbie, Kevin (gosh he’s aged badly) drippy Jack and Alfie will live happily ever after
Most likely spot on!

Aveline your comment has just confirmed for me that I must stop ignoring the reminders from the optician to make an appointment. I’ve just spent 5 mins trying to recall when Todd was in a wheelchair ?
?!
Well now its come out that Abi intended to kidnap Alfie and had a fake passport and fiddled with the car it maybe that her criminal record makes her deemed to be unsuitable to have custody. Maybe Leanne will adopt if Toyahs not up to it. Though I think they might do a blood test and find out the baby is Kevin's all along. They've got to string it out somehow.
abi and kevin......not a good match. 'kevin' is sold old looking for his age.
lemsip

Awwwwww poor Kevin... hahaha.
So.... Abi and Kevin free from the clutches of being investigated and it all starts again with Toyah !!
I ve also have been thinking for a long time that a blood test will show its Kevin’s baby
Where is Jack by the way ?he seems to disappear conveniently…. no one says ‘we need to get back to Jack’ or any reference to him being with someone else
So was Toya arguing with Imran ?
But Abi said it couldn’t be Kevin’s baby as they hadn’t been having sex. Surely if she could have passed it off as Kev’s, she would have? A lot easier than it being Imran’s. But seeing as Abi didn’t even know she was pregnant….
Jack was featured the other night, but the poor lad isn’t a very convincing teenager, assuming he is now that age. Looks a bit drippy.
I am intrigued by the bruising to the left side of Toyah's face. It looks like she has been hit.
If she hit her head on the window of the car during the crash, it would have been on her right hand side.
My guess is that Imran has confessed everything. She, as so often happens in tv/films, has turned her head toward him, staring at him in shock and hasn't been watching the road, and that's why the car crashed into the building without the brakes being applied.
I don't want to go down the route of Imran hitting Toyah, maybe because she threatened to go to the police or something, because it's too out of character, I think. But how else are they going to explain those bruises.
I also think Kelly is acting too guilty to not have some part in all of this too.
But she was driving. If on left side of face she can't have been turned towards Imran? Yet she was as he could see her face when he came to. Maybe injury during the attempt to pull her out?
Am I overthinking this?!
Am I overthinking this?
Probably, but then aren’t we all?
But it makes an interesting topic to chat about.
?
It's an exciting week, isn't it?
But I am so heartily sick of Leanne yapping away like an angry terrier. Come to think of it, why does everyone in Corrie have to berate the emergency services at every opportunity, telling them how to do their jobs and hanging about putting their twopennorth in in situations where they obviously wouldn't be allowed to be? You'd think they'd be a bit grateful for having the very finest care and attention from their local hospital with its ever vacant private room, the ambulance and fire engine that just lurk round the corner in case they're needed at a moment's notice, and the police officers that'll turn out to question any sniff of wrongdoing at the first vague suspicion voiced by any resident of the street. Not to mention having PC Craig, Doctor Gaddass and Nurse Aggie on 24 hour call, available for any consultation at a moment's notice.
But Leanne? I'd like to see her clapped in handcuffs and properly questioned about that arson I think she got away with many years ago......
And while I'm on a rant, why didn't that man collecting the bin bag from under the scaffolding hear the car crashing into the building moments later? Did he have his AirPods in?
Maggie
I agree re Leanne. I saw the bin bag man too and thought surely he must have heard the crash and the falling scaffolding.
Why does everyone clutch a cushion to their tummy at the slightest bit of stress? I thought Kelly was nursing a cat!
I never sit holding a cushion.
?♀️
Why was Toyah allowed to go home in sole charge of a newborn after such trauma? She wouldn’t have been fit to look after him.
Just thinking the same thing vegansrock.
Surely Leanne would have stayed with her, or insisted on them going home to her place?
Calendargirl I agree re clutching cushions. I often see people on TV doing this but have never seen it in real life.
If one fractures a rib I know from experience that one cannot lift much. I had problems with my almost empty handbag, never mind a baby.
Ahh the mystery of Corri land.
Court cases, operations, police investigations, they all proceed at the speed of light.
Unless the writers want to wring every tear and sob out of something, then it goes on for eons. Only to stop. Abruptly. And then be forgotten about forever
As for injures, no one has ever broken their nose in a fight or accident.
I know I know it's just a soap.
Whats happened to the snoring story line with Eileen and the funeral director? On hold until they want us to have some fun I suppose.
