yes he was invited to westminster abbey because he has a close association with the forces and was recognised in the 2022 Queen’s birthday honours for services to British Army, personnel and veterans.

I hope the Kellie storyline reaches a conclusion soon as it just goes from bad to worse. We were to believe she was a reformed character after escaping a prison sentence following Seb’s murder. Now she’s casually going to hire a hit man to murder Gary. I really dislike her character and I hope she’s gone soon. Either Thailand or the Corrie prison set. I don’t mind as long as she’s gone. Poor Aadi is heading for heartbreak.

Is she supposed to be hearing voices in her head? That’s such a cliche, and AFAIK isn’t something that happens all of a sudden, is it? I also feel for Aadi - he’s such a sweet boy and doesn’t deserve what’s coming.

That goth girl who lives with Roy is getting more lines to say now. What is her name? Evelyn is so funny and she is a proper actor too - unlike some of the others. Love Kelly's red shorts outfit. Hope her boyfriend does not get hurt in all the violence. Presumably this is Kelly's way out of Corrie so I suppose the hitman will bump her off and she'll be buried in the grave that Gary has kindly just dug for her.

I don't know if Kelly dies - the actress apparently wants to try new things while she's young enough not to be typecast. I can't remember exactly what I read - I'll have followed a link online - but I think* she said that she might go back one day.

It all happened in Corrie last night didn’t it? I enjoyed the charity shop piece with the worker wearing Hayley’s anorak ( “ you can’t go wrong with an anorak…”) How is Evelyn going to get it back? Stephen getting bashed by Jennie’s (ex?)boyfriend ( can’t remember his name). Looks like Jenny might not be going to Canada now. Stephen being rumbled by Audrey. Kelly now in danger, after Gary gets away….This is more like Corrie- a few good storylines.

I don’t really like Jenny’s boyfriend who has made such an impression on me that I can’t remember his name either but I liked him last night for having a go at ‘Stephen the terrible’
Of course Gary will somehow save Kelly and forgive her, but poor Aadi s in for a shock not sure it won’t end in tears unless he’s leaving the cast as well but Dev will be happy and ‘love’ him better

Afraid Mary really grates on me as does the new barmaid (George’s sister) perhaps I m not tolerant of these very loud over the top people
All in all totally unrealistic but good fun last night

I thought the storyline leading to the disappearance of Hayley’s jacket etc was silly. Nina has a close relationship with her uncle Roy and knows him well enough to realise it was wrong to let Bernie into the flat to rummage for charity donations. She thought nothing of seeing one of his beloved model trains in the charity box. It was so predictable that the lot was going to be taken away before Roy came home.

Evelyn is my favourite character. Her one liners are so funny. I think we can safely rely on her to disarm the charity shop woman and return Hayley’s jacket to Roy.

I bought a nice red anorak at about the time Hayley wore her one on their last trip to Blackpool. I had to put it away for several years as DD always referred to it as, 'Hayley's jacket'! I've never felt the same about it since.
